I really hope that Trump go forward with taking Greenland and abandon Ukraine to its inevitable demise in the hands of the Russians.
I want to look in the clownish faces of the people of this paleolithic useless cold war relic alliance if that happens.

Surely justification for PRC to significantly up its own military budget? This would also be part of a stimulus package and soak up spare capacity in shipyards.
PRC does not need justification to raise its budget when they are spending just 1.5% of GDP on defense despite being surrounded by enemies.

If China wanted spend more on the military, they would have done it long time ago. But apparently military strength is not a priority for China at the moment. They are spending huge amounts on infrastructure, industrial upgrade and other economy boosting measures.
