China could nuke Apple and other big US companies today, and along with tariff news, basically annihilate their stock market and that whole pyramid scheme.

Stock market, hedge funds, retail investors, stock, bonds, intra-loans, pension funds, collaterals, capital reserve ratios etc

Won't do all of that ofc because it doesnt want to actually collapse the US but expect a dragon-sized bazooka flying towards the US in the following hours/days
but bro most exporters to the US are mostly American companies and Apple make up 20% if those exports, so whose hurting who?

I have no idea what kind of methodology this "opinion poll" used. However, it does remind me of the ranking of how well each nation would respond to a pandemic, which didn't age well. It seems to me that the survey implies that Chinese is one of the most honest peoples in the world:rolleyes:

Make no mistake though, these tariffs are a declaration of total trade war against China. Grabbing popcorn for the counterpunch, it will be beautiful
My understanding is that China will not devalue RMB/CNY this time.

Read the articles I have shared. Preliminary findings by the Thai investigation find substandard steel is being used. Four staffs from that Chinese company have attempted to remove documents in the site office and were arrested. That's not hard evidence, but that is damn sure suspicious. That also doesn't mean that the other non-Chinese parties are not at fault.

Come on. I'm waiting for you to tell us why you believe with 100% conviction, without evidence that the Chinese company is not at fault! I hate arguing with fools. So don't be lazy with your reasoning.
Let's wait for the investigation to conclude. We don't really know if the Chinese company used substandard steel deliberately or themselves are a victim of criminal suppliers at this juncture. Remember, even world class companies such as VW and Toyota faked emission and safety test data.

Some surprisingly sober account by Thomas L. Friedman:

I Just Saw the Future. It Was Not in America.

Some of our senators need to get out more. If you’re a U.S. lawmaker and want to bash China, be my guest — I may even join you for a round — but at least do your homework. There is too little of that in both parties today and too much consensus that the politically safe space is to hammer Beijing, chant a few rounds of “U.S.A., U.S.A., U.S.A.,” issue some platitudes that democracies will always out-innovate autocracies and call it a day.

I prefer to express my patriotism by being brutally honest about our weaknesses and strengths, China’s weaknesses and strengths and why I believe the best future for both of us — on the eve of the A.I. revolution — is a strategy called: Made in America by American workers in partnership with Chinese capital and technology.

That "sea" dude is the one who confused the Chinese word nàge (那个) with the n-word. That's all you need to know.

What a nauseating a**hole: first wrote a book about the fake "Uyghur genocide", then helps FBI to deport "antisemitic" activists, in wanton violation of free speech.
