I'm not hating. I'm just stating inconvenient facts. Some of these Chinese construction companies are not good actors. I have blasted Bihar bridge construction, and Boeing shoddy manufacturing. We didn't wait for investigations to conclude the findings for those cases. We cannot be politically biased when it comes to things where irresponsibility can endanger people's lives. This Bangkok building collapse may not be their fault, but lets not pre-assume that they are gonna be innocent.
How do you know it's not an architectural design issue? Chill bud. Just wait for the investigation report.

Trade War Round 1
Trump Theory: Raise tarrif with China and China will buy more us goods.
Actual: US still bought more Chinese goods and China bought less US goods.

Trade War Round 2
Trump: Raise tarriff on everyone until they move back manufacturing back to the USA!
Likely Actual: US consumers will just pay more. Disadvantage to move back to the US since they would not be price competitive exporting to the rest of the world. Since prices of necessary goods go up, people stops spending on the rest of the economy

Pretty sure all the tariff on China is already +100% from the last several years. Trump threatening China with more tariffs over buying oil the US doesn’t approve which will likely include Russia sooner or later. I wonder if the smooth brains can get tariffs to 1000% before the mid terms.

Trade war is foolish, economics 101. But what trump may think is he may try to have these importing countries reduce their profit margins. However, it's still foolish as there will be less goods available to talk USA consumers because if the importing countries suffer due to low profit margins, then they will simply stop selling to the USA. Inflation or Soviet union-like shortage of certain goods. One can't twist or spin this as economically prosperous. Feel free to challange my opinion
