As time passes, there will be global enterprises using this AWS managed service with DeepSeek-R1 in their business domains. Banning TikTok is essentially about teenage tears. But banning DeepSeek, e.g. a few months from now, would not be a politically viable action. When Amazon, Microsoft and Nvidia are actively using or integrating DeepSeek in their mainline products or services, that tells a very different story. I don't remember there was any core or enabling technology from China that were being actively used or integrated by top US tech firms.
