Yes, they also didn't mention he was smuggling like 300 pounds worth of crystal meth. I think people tend to think, "Oh China, this guy must just have a ziploc bag like in the movies!"

The image below contains 100 pounds of meth. To get an idea of what 300 pounds might look like.

No mention of the CPU and GPU though.

From 7499 yuans to 9999 yuans, many Guancha readers are not impressed by the prices.

It's the Kirin 9020. Considering the specs, it's quite fair for a flip phone. The Samsung Z Flip 6 is $1220.
Most complaints about the pricing are towards the marketing gimmicks by Yu Chengdong. He claimed that this phone will be "affordable by everyone in China" (

Yes, it may have been misleading, but it will still sell insanely well, especially among women. And the upcoming Nova 14 series, Enjoy 70X+, and Enjoy 80 will definitely be affordable my everyone in China. Keep in mind, Huawei sold around 1.5M flip phones in China last year, which is more than the other brands combined. Huawei also passed Samsung for number 1 in global foldable sales last year. Huawei will easily sell over 2M flip phones this year, which is insane since they don't have overseas sales.

I would suggest not reading too much into social media comments on anything related to Huawei, or phones in general. The fact is social media does not reflect the views of the vast, vast majority of phone buyers, especially women or people middle-aged and above. For example, if you went by social media you would get the strong impression that the Mate XT tri-fold is selling poorly. But the sales of the Mate XT alone, despite starting at ¥19,999, are better than many brands' entire foldable sales.

Also, outside of the Mate 60 series, which took everyone by surprise, there's been a concerted effort by various groups to defame every single Huawei product. Huawei's legal department only recently stepped in, and people have been arrested as a result. I won't go into more details, but if you know, you know.

Some leftist-pretending Guancha readers have gone nuts lately. I want to see their faces slapped by the final sales figures. At the same time there is a reason for Yu Chengdong being called a "Big Mouth" by netizens.

Yes the West not making a huge stink over it so of course they have to be Chinese. Just like they don’t really give a damn about human rights except to use it to hate countries they don’t like.

Yes the West hoping to flood China with drugs again in order to stop China that way. Remember the reason the US is so anti-drug is because they know from experience as the West was not only the first drug cartel with opium but they intentionally used drugs to destroy a country. As usual the West is guilty of something they have been doing all along as being first to do it.
I wonder why China doesn't have a fentanyl crisis with tens of thousands deaths a year.

Well.

Fantasizing that China is becoming the Soviet Union is not "intellectual laziness", it's just coping.
