US President Donald Trump says "many elements" of a peace agreement in Ukraine have been agreed with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, ahead of their much anticipated phone call.

Trump posted on Truth Social that he will speak with Putin on Tuesday morning.

He said that while there have been agreements, "much remains" to be worked upon.

"Each week brings 2,500 soldier deaths, from both sides, and it must end NOW. I look very much forward to the call with President Putin," Trump wrote.

He earlier told reporters that "we're going to see if we can work a peace agreement, a ceasefire and peace, and I think we'll be able to do it".

What working for Zuck is like according to this excerpt:

The book is called "Careless People" btw. You can probably download a PDF version off of Yandex or something similar.

Not even Russia-China shares the same Rail Gauge connection - yet China achieved that with Vietnam. If you read Western pundits, you would think Vietnam would never adopt HSR/gauge size tech of China due to adversarial relations - this is farther from the truth. Yes, they are unusually silent too.

This is off that book from an ex employee, right? Well if it is, she lost credibility when she tried to make it look like Zuckerberg was going to give away the farm just to get Facebook in China. No need to point that out because Zuckerberg gave up on China on his own. So mentioning it was moot because he never followed through. That little tidbit proves the author was disgruntled and not because Facebook was kowtowing.

I realized these days every time you have one of these "fights" in the south China sea, the PLAN boats seems to get more advanced each time. These things aren't going to be a laughing matter in the future when China has those boats you see in those RTS games like Supreme Commander where they are the size of entire mountains and can fire 10 plasma lasers at the same time.
