I realized these days every time you have one of these "fights" in the south China sea, the PLAN boats seems to get more advanced each time. These things aren't going to be a laughing matter in the future when China has those boats you see in those RTS games like Supreme Commander where they are the size of entire mountains and can fire 10 plasma lasers at the same time.

Yeah right, if humans land on Mars in 2029, I will eat everybody's hats here. Like I said, there will be a commercially viable nuclear fusion reactor operating on Earth before Man first sets foot on Mars.
What if they land there in the same way the US astronauts landed an extended stay in the ISS?

All it takes is one drone hobbyist to get himself or herself on the news because they flew their drone and then everyone else will follow. In this case maybe a drone club. That’s why so many at a time.

It’s a shock to the system because people assume nothing gets by the all and mighty and powerful US without it being able to counter. That’s why the denial.

Robots from China has everyone scared right now but nothing a bat couldn’t handle. People think it’s like in the movies that robots are indestructible. No, one hit in the right place will probably disable it quickly.

Remember knights in shining armor? If you look at it clearly, it was so much a backward move of the time. It restrained mobility. But it gave a sense of being impervious to the weapons of the time and place. Everyone wanted the shiny new toy despite the negatives. Enter the crossbow. A crossbow could easily pierce plate armor. Why do you think the Vatican banned it? It was a game changing weapon that could easily shift the balance of power out of their control.

Some people value playing victim that they want action so much that they forget they’re making it out that the enemy they want it to be that normally they see as less is more advanced than they are.

Adding to this. There literally smuggling "industry" between borders of China and Vietnam. We talk about shit tons of good there. Which mean China can just offload anything to Vietnam assembly industry off the book no traces whatsoever. So China can just continue do their strategy: move to high end industry while offload their low tech pollutants industry to neighbours. Everyone have money. Win Win for us. This can also apply to Laos and Myanmar etc. So thing continue like always. Chinese hater/doubter can keep buy made in US/EU/Asean goods with China made part inside while think they teach Chyna lessons. Lol
Vietnam is China's economic alt account

I saw a twitter post of some Iranian Jew (wtf) who's probably a zionist say that China doesn't really look as good as it claims coz its all drone footage at night and nothing on the streets. Japan and Korea don't do this stuff (spoiler they do).

I won't even post it coz its so tired and done and these low quality baits don't deserve views.

Anyway what I noticed is a lot of responses even from westerners was: but I went there and it was pretty good, so I'm not sure what you're saying here. Now you know why the US government didn't want people actually going to places like Xinjiang or other places in China. Its not coz of safety or whatever bs. Its because they are scared that people will actually go to China and see hey wtf did my government lie to me?! How come they have all things that are so quick and easy to use while I don't have it in my own country that I'm paying 40% tax to?!?
Last year China allowed visa-free visits for many wealthier countries. Now you know why they did it.

I saw some Japan users retweet it and fully believe it. I don't even believe these Japanese posters are paid agents. The way I see it, Japan is experiencing what late Qing experienced. Some guys they previously looked down on is now overtaking them and they don't want to accept it. Its really surprising how ignorant a lot of people in Japan are given they have so many resources. They might be even more ignorant than some guy in a poor village in Guangxi coz that guy might live next to Vietnam (maybe he is even conversational in vietnamese!) and realize the world isn't just limited to one country. Not our problem though.

Also something interesting I learnt. Did you know Tel Aviv in Israel didn't even have a metro until 2023 where China played a huge part in building it? Israel with 50k GDP per capita is less advanced than some second tier city in China. Just something to think about.

Because nobody serious uses gdp per capita as a measure of wealth. Not while median income exists. Using average(mean) on non normally distributed data (which gdp defintely isn't lmfao) would have netted a failed grade in high school. That's notwithstanding the fact that gdp measures production/consumption, not wealth. Income measures wealth.

Median income in China is pretty high, about the same as in EU. Like ofc we meme on EU economy for being shitty, but median income doesn't take into living costs, where China is far ahead.

The average Chinese from T1 or T2 cities has easily more income than their counterpart in Israel or other east/central Europe style countries.
