I think that has to do with the fact that Canada cucked so hard in the past (Meng Wenzhou) that Trump’s threats of annexation and tariffs have finally made them snap. I call it the “used condom” effect.

The liberals banned several bolt action rifles as an “assault style weapons.” Including single shot rifles. If they won’t allow you to own a rifle that only has 1 bullet. Then don’t have any expectations they will allow the ownership of automatic rifles.
