Modi's informal "meeting" with Xi is even more informal than Trudeau's meeting with Xi, Modi just striked a conversation when Xi walked by. It's so unofficial the Chinese side didn't even both reporting it.Apparently Modi and Xi met together atleast 18 times in past 10 years (average 2 times per year).
They even informally meet during the Doklam tensions (2 times) and post-Galwan tensions (3 times), which shows that both sides want to keep things manageable.

So what I can tell is that both sides is managing the tensions quite well throughout Doklam and Galwan. These are quite frequent visits despite tensions. They now "agree to disagree" to avoid blowing up the relationship.
Your chart would be more useful if it only counted the meetings reported by both sides, imo saying hi and small talk isn't a meeting.
