Very bubbly, speculative, and unproductive sectors of the economy with highly dubious value (real estate investment for people to buy their umpteenth property, financial engineering for creation and sales of extremely dubious instruments, etc.) were intentionally deflated (by design), while sectors with extremely high value (semiconductors, semiconductor manufacturing equipment and software, pharmaceuticals, EVs, etc.) were expanding. Seems like a pretty clear exchange of quantity for quality. Make of that what you will.

Most of it its related to financial services and tech bubbles; basically fake money in Wall Street's computers and little else. Another moderate inconvenience or the AI bubble implodes and it will wipe out most of it.

You are deeply delusional. I was talking about Chinese production rates for ammunition. You can't debate me, so you go all over the place about artillery, then about AK-47 auto firing system, then about hitting moving targets, then high tech war, then IL-76. How old are you? I feel like I'm arguing with a schoolboy or a Jai Hind clown.

Nobody else in the world can replicate an automatic artillery gun like Koalitsya SV? Then you must never have heard about modern naval guns, tank guns with autoloaders, Bofors FH-77, Archer Artillery System, and Norinco's SH-16 155mm unmanned gun turret. Automatic naval guns in particular have been around for decades already. Your understanding of military tech is extremely cartoonish. No automatic artillery, not even the Koalitsiya-SV uses AK-47 automatic system. But you won't know that, because you never bother to research and understand how things work.

You understand that the US Fed raised interest rates that year (due to high inflatio), which caused the US dollar to appreciate against the Yuan, right? Multiple other currencies also loss value compared to the USD, like the Malaysian Ringgit, Japanese Yen, Vietnamese Dong, etc

I hope most people on this forum know that nominal GDP measured in USD is impacted by exchange rates...
