You act like it's a big deal, but it's 2.5 years since the war started, if US could have completely stopped trade, it would have done so already. Yes, we all know big global Chinese banks have cut trade with Russia, and small regional Chinese banks are doing all $240B in trade with Russia. US sanctions can't touch these small regional banks because they have zero exposure to US denominated assets or financial system. Who cares? China will just create a bunch of small regional banks to handle Russia trade, the same how it trades with North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, and other highly-sanctioned countries.

Lol there are winners and losers in any market.

What does the data say?

Those who fail to adapt to dealing with Russian needs and demands end up losing money. While the majority of banks, suppliers, importers and exporters are making historic windfall due to Russian economical growth and Russia's geopolitical pivot to China.

BYD is very nice. They're giving away all these cars and the maintenance equipment for free in Russia since no money can be transferred from Russia!

Kim Joon-hyung, interim head of the Rebuilding Korea Party, told This Week in Asia in an exclusive interview that his party and the main opposition Democratic Party of Korea planned to jointly introduce the bill to parliament soon.

“There have been growing discussions in Washington among some military commanders and congressmen that South Korea and Japan should intervene in a crisis over Taiwan”, Kim said.

and its allies are opposed to any attempt to take the island by force.
“This law bill aims to prevent the South Korean military from being dragged into such an eventuality and make it focus on its original mission to defend the South from the North’s threats,” Kim said.

The bill would have a good chance of being passed by the National Assembly, where the two main opposition parties have 187 seats in the 300-seat parliament, Yang added.
