When Biden threatened to kick China out of the dollar for doing business with Russia, Trump came out separately saying he was going to punish countries that don't use the dollar as a reaction to countries de-dollarizing. The saying goes one man's hero is another man's villain. But how can one tell what is universally recognized as evil? Evil can have two contradictory thoughts at a single time.

Thailand does more business with Asian countries than with the US and Europe. On top of that the US isn't opening its market more to even close allies. So why would Thailand stick with the dollar especially if it's more of a hassle using it as an intermediary? The US and Europe are closing their doors not opening them. There was that article about the "Axis of Evasion..." That's a lie because countries in the global south are still trading with Russia so it's not just a few countries only doing business with each other. Then on top of that I read that Europe is still buying Russian energy. It's just through intermediaries now so it doesn't get labelled as Russian in origin.

The West claims China has hollowed out their manufacturing. Then what do they have to trade and sell to the world? Only expensive advanced technology that China use to buy but most everyone else can't afford. China is manufacturing and selling what developing countries need. Why was it when Kamala Harris went to Africa to court them away from China that she had to land at a Chinese built airport, travel on a Chinese built road, and speak to African countries from a Chinese built building? Because the US and the West don't do that. Why is that they waited until China did it first? It's because the West saw it as a waste of time and money to help countries that they saw as strategically worthless to them to help develop. Why do they fear Belt and Road? Because it's about helping those countries the West chose to ignore. Why now then? All you have to do is look at how the US and West give so much attention to island nations. They're votes in the UN they can count on. You don't need a lot of money to get them to your side.

The fact is nothing they're claiming China is doing is against the law of any sort. It's only people who think white Western countries own the world and have a right to control it who believe a crime has been committed.

That event is the start of the downfall of Pinoy administration for its incompetence. After that the Masasapano massacre that killed 44 SAF troopers, the Drug menace that threatened the Philippines to become a narco state and the huge equality gap between the rich and the poor. There is a smearing social and economic discontent that may had led to a violent revolution. The election of Duterte had pull us out of the abyss and the oligarchs should be grateful for him for saving their ass. The current Marcos administration is doing the same and it may take another Duterte to save us again.

- What an idiotic thing to say. Moutai is not targeted at the budget-friendly booze market. They already have many other entry-level brands for that. How come you WSJ idiots never questioned whether Moet & Chandon is too expensive for the cash-strapped young peoples in America?

2) WSJ said: "Moutai is not popular globally. It only sells to the odd Chinese overseas."
- Then you WSJ people have been living under a rock. Moutai is already quite established among the overseas Chinese diaspora for more than a decade already. Moutai is like old news now in the overseas Chinese markets. It is now the big and established luxury brand for baijiu. Kinda like what Henessy is for Cognac. Right now, other baijiu brands are gaining traction overseas too, like Wuliangye 五粮液, Luzhou Laojiao 泸州老窖, and even newer brands.

3) WSJ said: "An overseas drinker don't get what Moutai is. It tastes like ethanol."
- LOL! This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. What? Never drank hard liquor before? Off course it tastes like ethanol! All drinkable alcohol is composed of ethanol! That's what you will smell from any type of hard liquor, be it Vodka, Rum, Gin, Cognac, Brandy, or Whiskey!

WSJ is insinuating that Moutai sucks. Its 53% abv is too high, it tastes like medical alcohol, or nobody other than the Chinese likes it. No, Moutai and other baijiu's doesn't just taste like ethanol. There also have complex fermented flavours of soy sauce, herbs, and a long aftertaste of sorghum. They can be just as complex as fine Brandy, Scotch, and Bourbon, but with a very Chinese taste. Baijiu can be quite unappealing to first time drinkers, but after taking it in a few times, you can start to appreciate the taste. You can either love it or hate it. But WSJ cannot pass judgement that it sucks because its Chinese. That's just racism.

They're just collectively raging that Moutai is worth more than their companies manufacturing supposedly superior tasting spirits.

But this is a company that Warren Buffet did not invest in, otherwise they would be touting it as a Warren Buffet backed miracle, like BYD.

Yeah I remembered that period in 2013. A Taiwanese friend of mind was very pissed with the PH. He said that there were many outraged Taiwanese who really wanted their military to "teach the PH a lesson". That was before Aquino publically apologized and cooled things down later.

At that time, Taiwan island was run by Ma Ying-jeo. He is definitely not the strongest ROC president. But during his tenure, the ROC had at least some semblance of Chinese nationalism. The ROC coast guards were water cannoning the Japanese coast guards around Diaoyudao. And when the fisherman murder by the PCG incident happened, the ROC mobilized it's military for a possible confrontation with the PH.

If the same incident were to happen today. I am confident that Lai Ching Te will be totally spineless. He'll probably ask the US first for instructions. Then the US would come in and get the ROC and PH to shake hands and laugh it away. Lai might even apologize to the PH for "trespassing", thereby recognising the PH's side of the dispute. Then we shall see how the Taiwanese public reacts. Are they gonna be as outraged as they were 11 years ago? Or have things really changed over the years under DPP nonsense and tyranny?
