BTW, China's stock market has been stabilized.

The Global South, as well as the technologies of green energy, will be China's economic future.

Some background information about the SCS:
Roy, who was in the meeting, explained to Mahbubani that in fact pretty much the exact opposite happened. When Obama raised the issue of the South China Sea, Xi proposed as a solution that they both agree to demilitarize the South China Sea, where neither China nor the U.S. would have military facilities in the area. Obama's response? They rebuffed China's offer and stepped up U.S. military patrols in the area.

APAC is also regional...oh yeah..
This is an interesting interpretation of the recent U.S. military announcements of troops pull out from IRAQ AND SYRIA. According to this tweet, there's a turf battle between to combatant commanders of INDOPACOM AND CENTCOM over air assets arguing that each of the theatre command must be prioritize over the other because of one overarching need to wage war against: CHINA.

Holy s...hh...The Americans really think that they can simply waltz against China after their lackluster performance of FUBAR on just about every conflict they fought post WWII? And somehow they'll beat an INDUSTRIALIZED CHINA; occupy the place, a country larger than the U.S. both in size and population? UNLESS they're prepared to just simply spray nukes towards China without expecting to be nuked back into oblivion, I just don't see how such futile process and head smacking approach can ever work?

Interesting, but however, you spin this news, this is a lose-lose situation to the US. Abandoning Syria and Iraq = losing geopolitical influence abroad, especially in the West Asia.

However, keeping the resources in Iraq and Syria = even fewer actual chances to win the hot war against China. The American Empire is in a perma-loss state - soon will collapse.

Trump, RFK Jr side with Texas in border fight with Biden admin as 25 states show support

A Supreme Court decision on Monday gave the OK for Border Patrol officials to remove razor fence being used as a deterrent at the border

This thread has some funny responses

Doesn't that make it a great excuse for the US to reduce their military presence in West Asia, so that they can shift more of their military manpower to the IndoPac and increase their focus against China instead?
I am not really sure if American zionists lobby will ever permit the u.s to disengage from middle east, especially if Israel is under threat like right now. for the US to fully commit in Asia, they need to basically eliminate the zionist lobby, I think this beyond them in my opinion

Biden to deploy CIA director to help broker major Gaza deal

William Burns is looking to close gaps between Israel and Hamas on a deal that includes the release of all hostages in Gaza and a two-month cease-fire

Is getting rid of Netanyahu part of this "deal"?

China better be ready to kick off if any more of its ambassadors to Israel or the wider ME suddenly die of ‘natural causes’.

Wang Yi will visit Thailand from January 26 (today) to 29 at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Thailand Parnpree. During the visit, Wang Yi will also hold a new round of meetings with the Sullivan at Bangkok, as previously agreed by both China and the US.
