A soft tool that is starting to hemorrhage profits from the box office given how a lot of franchises like Disney and marvel are literally now literally running out of ideas but are really trying to shove wokism and the LGBTQ angle down everyone collective throats. If this is really the soft power of the west then this is pathetic since people of most persuasions will begin to true from this mainstream entertainment and will eventually turn to things that have some sanity to them. China should simply focus on being China and not try to copy western values in there entertainment, I mean look at Japan and South Korea and even India, sure is gives short term success but nowadays, one only needs to look at the general population to see how weak and deluded deep down they are. Besides, nowadays, I find Chinese films to be much more enjoyable when they actually tell a story with an actual theme rather then regurgitating that same tropes Hollywood has been pandering for the last 3 decades and if films in the west has taught me one thing, is that it can literally persuade people to become monsters
Recently i hardly watch Movies from US; blockbuster like Black Adam, Transformer, etc seemed dull. The storyline downright boring. The comedies genre still good. Surprisingly China movies getting better. Movies like The coldest city, battle at lake changjin , etc really good. The plot twist are unexpected and some really close to incidents in the past. yesterday i watch Yang Jian (2022) animation....good illustration and storyline. I'm looking forward for more great movies from China. BTW, appreciate if anyone can share good website to watch or list of great movie. :)

Nevertheless, the West and the Russians adore that Indian attitude. They regard it as positive, "never say die attitude". They just don't understand that they are being scammed. I don't mind the West getting scammed by India. But to see the Russians still getting suckered by India is quite annoying.
They adore it because they have the same attitude, the only difference is that they are more developed than India so it does not look as comical. "Fake it till you make it" and overselling their achievements are huge parts of Euro cultures. Indians probably took these traits during the British occupation.

Bro from what I heard from the Indians, it was the Russian who suckered them...lol the name INS Vikramaditya comes to mind and the Mig- 29k.
So the Indians claim. But good luck getting a carrier anywhere else for a better price than they paid for INS Vikramaditya. The Indians spent like 50% more building the INS Vikrant with Indian salaries.

As for the MiG-29K, they paid 29 million per aircraft, and are paying 100 million per aircraft for the Rafale.

It could be that the MiG-29K has teething issues. It is the first time the Russians made a digital fly by wire system for a carrier aircraft. They just need to talk with the maker and fix them. I just kind of doubt the Rafale is worth 3x the price especially when you consider what the Indians will be using the carrier for.

Agree with you bro, Indians are bitter cause they're cheap BUT when it comes to the Collective West they're willing to spend an arm and a leg to acquire such system....lol They believed the hype and want the status of being a great nation BUT when reality did set in (Ukraine War) they go back to Russia cause they don't have the means to afford it....lol

“at what point are we ready to let the algorithm start doing some things on its own that maybe we are or aren’t comfortable with.”

Well, if you start by stating that your enemy doesn’t really have morals, it makes sense to let the algorithm take care of it for the greater good.
