Anecdotally, I feel like Hollywood influence has completely collapsed since Covid, or maybe the last Avengers movie.

I can't remember a single Hollywood movie I've watched or wanted to watch in years. The only movies I actually remember are 八佰 and Wandering Earth 2

(any recommendations?)
Basically 96% of big budget blockbusters recently have been shit and have flopped at the cinemas. I recommend you watch some TV shows instead. Some of my favorites are Foundation, Severance and Silo.

I just can't believed the Indian gov't promise such huge undertaking without investing and planning how to execute such plan, I mean do they know the meaning of shame and embarrassment IF nothing come out of it? Here in SEA India words is meaningless, like the kid who cried wolf nobody take them seriously. ;)
Well you're talking about India. Shame and embarrassment from failure doesn't exist in their dictionary. That is why Indians make excellent CEOs for Western companies. In SEA, we are not perfect, but we at least feel shame and embarrassment for failures. But not for the Indians, they can shrug off failures as if it never happened, and then move on to the next big announcement. Announce and fail, announce and fail, but never lose sleep over it. Because the objective is not to actually be successful, but to scam suckers. Nevertheless, the West and the Russians adore that Indian attitude. They regard it as positive, "never say die attitude". They just don't understand that they are being scammed. I don't mind the West getting scammed by India. But to see the Russians still getting suckered by India is quite annoying.

They are still one of the largest exporter of beef. Yes, beef. When it comes to money, nothing is holy.
Well, let’s hope they don’t start exporting rats, too, then!
And, tho’ I hate to give the Indian government any justifications, once a people are so thoroughly mystified by religion, i. e., superstition, there’s only so much that can be done for them, anyway! Although I believe that communism is total folly, I do find many of Marx’ observations to be accurate, and none is more accurate than “ [...]Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people. [...]”

Arabs have important role in Indian wealth as they were the earliest where Indian got hard currency. now Indians are paying them back handsomely by buying there real estate. you are confusing problems in West with Indian management.

Largely as a result of these listing, the market cap of Arab stock exchanges exceeded $4 trillion by the end of 2022, according to the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF). The AMF said that the market value of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange reached $714.6 billion in the reference year, while that of Dubai Financial Market was valued at $158.4 billion. The market value of the Saudi Stock Exchange was $2.63 trillion; while that of the Qatar Stock Exchange was $167.09 billion. The market cap of the Boursa Kuwait was $152.7 billion; while that of the Muscat Stock Exchange was $61.6 billion.

Indians buying up properties will drive up prices, which is bad for the locals. The next step is to increase India immigration to the middle East countries, as part of India's plan of flooding the world with Indian immigration.

driving up prices what they are after. This creates aspiration for other Indians to buy even more properties due to stable currency, well functioning infrastructure and global airline connectivity. I have no doubt Arabs have power they will impose Indian management on West.
They also advertize these draws.

No, let's not use cope here, Iran have only limited means of contesting the seas.
When the US did the Millenium Challenge wargame Iran was supposed to only have the Silkworm anti-ship missile. Which did not have enough range to cover the entire Persian Gulf if launched from the coastline. Which is why the guy playing as Iran made them be launched from boats.

The Silkworm is a clone of the P-15 Termit which is a missile with 40-80 km range depending on version. The missiles weight 2580 kg each which is why they say in the discussion it would have been impossible to carry them in the small boats he used in the simulation.

Well, the thing is, Iran today has the Nasr-1 anti-ship missile with 35 km range but that missile only weights 350 kg. Which can be definitively carried on fast small boats.

They also have the Qader cruise missile with up to 300 km range.

And finally like I said they have the anti-ship ballistic missiles with up to 700 km range.

The Persian Gulf at its widest extent from the Iranian coastline isn't even 300 km wide. So the Iranians can cover the entire Persian Gulf with land based missiles just like I said. For the Iranians hitting a ship transiting the Persian Gulf it would be like shooting fish in a barrel.

As for communications, Iran has connected all its cities with fiber optic links which would be really hard to intercept communications from, and they have 90% 4G phone coverage. That is just the civilian angle of things.

What is way more likely is that the US would try to bomb Iran from either Turkiye or Diego Garcia.

Not good. This means Hollywood will drop trying to appease China and will go full propaganda mode. Unless Chinese films are as global and influential as Hollywood films then this isn't not good news.
Well considering that Sinophobia has gotten to where it is eventhough Hollywood has never gone all out on making China villains the same way it did the Soviet Union and not to mention has been improving in terms of Asian representation, I would say it doesn't really change things that Chinese people don't show up to Hollywood movies as much anymore.

As for Chinese filmmakers still being far inferior to Hollywood ones, much has been gone over about that so I don't want to beat a dead horse.

Oh man, and I was getting slightly worried.
Well, Tesla also wants to set up shop in India. If this is India's level of quality control, then good luck Tesla.

So India plans to produce and sell 5Mt of hydrogen that is more expensive to produce than hydrogen from the Oil & Gas industry.

Looks like India is probably onboard the Hydrogen Fuel Cell vehicle plans by Japan. EV had already won the race of alternative-powered vehicles. India is betting on the wrong horse, and I am happy to see this development. Carbon emission credits is a meaningless economic incentive to the Global South. If it is not locally-implemented, but enforced by some Western body, it is worthless.

Green Hydrogen is not in itself, a bad idea, but it should not be the way that India is planning to do it. Green Hydrogen is relatively easily to produce. It only requires a green power source, industrial-grade electrolysis machinery, and water. It should be something that under-developed countries could produce themselves, instead of having to buy it from India at high cost, and earning some bogus carbon credit.
India wants to concentrate on hydrogen exclusively because they are hopeless behind in the technologies of battery, solar, wind, and nuclear power, in stark contrast to China.

China cannot win the propaganda war with the West for the next few years. There is no way to sugarcoat this. The English language world is dominated by the West. China just cannot please the majority of the English language crowd. It has to work with the reality that it is in right now. Soft power is not a race that China is in a position to win right now. CGTN and Chinese cinema can only win China so much respect and new friends. Nobody else wants to listening to China's message. They can only be convinced by China's warships, missiles, and nuclear weapons; Hard power. This will keep the peace and allow China to rise in relative safety to the world's no.1 economy, while the West declines. Only then, when the tables are turned, can China have more effective Soft Power. Then, Hollywood might have to kowtow to China anyways, especially if it wants to have a piece of the world's largest economy.
For now, I'm just glad China can spread soft power in the Global South through its initiatives and institutions such as BRI and AIIB.
