Bro Chinese civilization is an assimilation of various culture, like those of Manchurian, Mongols, Muslim, India Buddhism and even from the European. Thru interaction (and being invaded) help create a unique culture that is distinct. I respect your view but the question should be ask is how to become a Chinese, I think you yourself can be one. It's not about the nationality, skin color or different custom and arts, Its about principle and philosophy ,Thru centuries of trial and error with the likes of renowned philosophers such as Confucuis, Daoism, Menzi and others help define what a Chinese should be. It may sound pretentious on my part BUT instead of religion I believed it is more achievable and realistic than FATE base theory. (the reason why atheism is so popular in China)This is arrogance and hubristic thinking. China can be 10,000 years old but can still learn from others. No nation or civilization has a monopoly on knowledge and culture.
And another thing, China cultural golden age during the Tang, Han and Ming dynasty is due to her willingness to interact and acceptance of other Ideas. It's when we isolate ourself during the Qing ( Manchu) period that Hubris is abound with disastrous result. So a lesson well learn and it was ingrained to every Chinese.
