To put this bluntly, this means nothing because the Saudi are too chicken to do anything
To put it mildly Saudi have contempt for most of the world and it is based on there connections and historical experience.
Saudis must have told some thing that Turkish FM said in response that. ' important that Turkey does not appear in a weak position". Saudis are too polite and diplomatic. since they dont want reveal themselves they have created project for New Europe which is to deal with europhiles and countries who are at the gates of Europe.

Trump might be open to a deal but the current deep state is simultaneously too moronic and arrogant for such an arrangement to happen.

Don't forget Trump has a history of reneging on deals and not living up to his side. In business he only ever went for one sided deals and loved to humiliate the other party. The concept of win-win does not exist for him and he doesn't give face, especially not to an Asian. He was apparently genuinely shocked that China responded to his tariffs by slapping counter tariffs. The idea that the Asian would slap back instead of just taking his slap and surrendering to grovel before him was completely shocking to him...so he did more tariffs and was again shocked when China responded with a 2nd round of counter tariffs. That's just how stupid and racist he is.

The sheer amount of corruption for Mukesh Ambani to accumulate $125 Billion in a country as poor as India...must be an insane amount of bribery and dirty dealings. That's nothing to be proud of.
Indian elites are fortunate that they have bred the Indian laity to be compliant, weak and lacking the spine and will to act, under the cult like belief that “I’ll be repaid next life”. Now, western elites want to similarly cultivate their own populations to be the same.

Structural factors matter, not personalities. The US does not tolerate threats to its hegemonic status. Only the total surrender of any national interests by China would be acceptable to Washington. DC elites deluded themselves that China would simply be a very big version of South Korea or Japan: vassal states with little to say.

When they understood that was a fantasy is when the aggression began. Trump or Biden or whoever president doesn't matter. The same treatment will be given to India if they ever dare to move out of the orbit of "the West's chess piece against China". India's weakness is that its elites are much more westernised than China's and so any move towards genuine independence will be hampered from the inside by those who care more about their links to the West than their own national interest. This is true in other South Asian countries like Pakistan too.

The obsession with China is at some level rational, because I don't see any other country being able to stand up to US hegemony other than China today or even far into the future.
