I was hoping you'd provide an incident involving Afghan Taliban attacking Pakistan after labeling it 'nothing crazy'. Even the lady in the interview called it as sounding crazy. We aren't talking about Afghanistan or it's history. We are talking about Afghan Taliban, founded in 1996 by Mullah Omar, not TTP founded in 2007 by Baitullah Masud.
Afghan Taliban has no real connection with TTP, neither in motive nor in ideology nor religious philosophy. Afghan Taliban are Deobandi, while TTP is Wahhabi. Take a moment to realize what you're insinuating: "A Deobandi blessing a Wahhabi..."
Afghanistan is a wrecked country with a poor government since the 80s, a little worse than the Pakistani tribal regions. Anybody can operate out of there, including the vehemently anti-Taliban NRF (formerly Northern Alliance). If TTP has assets in Afghanistan, it doesn't allude to a Afghan Taliban blessing.
