As the US elections ramp up, american China Hawks try to outdo each other in war hysteria, hoping for a cushy Washington position (never mind the possibility of world war), ie the Peter Navarro/ Gordon Chang scam pipeline. What would the history books say that that the US was goaded into a world ending world war with China because american grifters needed to pay off their third mortgage?

What broke the imperial Japanese was that with Hiroshima, the Americans proved destroying a city of hundreds of thousands was as simple and effortless as dropping a single bomb in a time where you would’ve needed hundreds of thousands if not millions to get the same effect and the Japanese proved they were fine with the Americans spending hundreds of thousands of bombs with the firebombings.
