Yes. Historically, football holiganism have fascist like groups associated with them. Italy's football ultras infamously had far right wing supporters. I'm sure in eastern Europe, nazi like groups or elements had infiltrated into the football scene. Although it may be different in other nations.Football hooliganism is actually not an excuse. It is actually a true symptom of often overly nationalistic behaviour that bleeds into violence and often connected with neo-nazi groups in Europe.
Football "ultras" were connected with the Odessa fire that killed dozens of people that was cited by Putin to start the war.
Like England for example. They were notorious for their football hooligans back then but seem to have solved that issue. The game got alot more international with major investors and owners coming from all over the world. Not to mention the players playing in Premier league. Chelsea used to be owned by a Russian billionaire. Man city are owned by UAE group. Newcastle by Saudi Arabia. Man utd, arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool by Americans.
In Italy, AC Milan former owners were chinese, inter current owners are chinese. In Spain, real Madrid derby rivals are Atlético Madrid and I believe wanda group from China used to sponsor them.
