What is China's answer to the columbia class submarine? I know satellites can track anything above the sea level included the most stealthiest plane and ship. Since submarine are underwater, does china have very advanced radar to track these things?

Article has so much small dick energy right from the title LOL Basically says he knows nothing about the submarine other than that it's the biggest America has ever made and assumes nobody else (ESPECIALLY NOT CHINAAAA) can match it. It's a garbage post. What is China's answer? We build better stuff and conduct better and faster research as always. Oh, and I like that idea about an automated suicide drone sub that hunts and tails other subs. We all know who's best at making drone tech, eh? Thanks to the US blabbermouths that had to give that idea away before they even got it working. Who cares about keepin' National secrets when you can rat them out for a couple of 'merca-fuck-yeah points with the voters, right?

I don't understand the logic in this tweet. Why would a break up of USSR/Russia be a bad thing for the US? If anything, I see it as a benefit: instead of a unified Russia fighting the US, it would be a fragmented, weakened Russia fighting itself. Just look at middleast today.. compared to a unified middleast (i.e. under the Ottomans) that terrified the Europeans for centuries.

Many reasons. In no particular order:

Better the Devil you know.
The USSR was a known and defeated quantity. The US objective would have been to essentially lock everything about it in place so it never changed and as such, is forever contained and neutralised.

For a country to fragment would by definition it would result in an effective revolution in all resulting new states created. That can lead to a whole new paradigm emerging after the havoc that is far more competitive against the west. As has happened with modern Russia.

Nuclear proliferation
Russian nukes are scattered all over its territory. A break up of Russia will immediately multiple the number of nuclear powers on the world stage. While the west was able to roll back nuclear proliferation following the fall of the USSR, no way that will happen twice with Libya and Ukraine as cautionary tales.

Increased risk of conflict and war between the newly created states
Once the dust has settled and a powerful, overwhelmingly powerful country emerges from the newly created independent states, there would be a great temptation for it to reabsorb the other new countries to restore the old Russia. That would put the US in an impossible position. Intervene and potentially get dragged into a nuclear war. Or let Russia reform, rejuvenated and more powerful than ever.

Potential unfavourable combinations
Alternatively, if Russian fragmented, it’s possible for chunks of it to willingly be absorbed by China, making China significantly more powerful, self sufficient and potentially at America’s literal doorstep.

Then there’s all the economic and human and social impact of it, such as economic recessions world wide from the disruption to supply chains, massive refugee crisis in Europe etc.

The overriding American obsession is control and subjugation. It’s easier to subvert, sabotage and control one country than many.

But doesn't big bad China remove the need for a big bad Russia?
The problem with an apartheid society like the United States is that they never take non white countries seriously, because they never take Chinese people seriously. That's the reason why there exists an industry of caucasians who have to show western audiences what China is really like, because the West has a hard time accepting Chinese people, let alone non white people, as human beings.

China could have 10,000 hypersonic nuclear tipped ICBMs and anglo america would still try to start WW3; that's the level of delusion inherent in an anglo elite that believes its own propaganda of being 'God's Chosen'.

pity the poor gigolo who must relieve the stresses of little miss Ladybugs after this.

The National Interest also published an article saying the US was developing helicarriers like you see in Marvel comics. It’ll go by the way of other little boy dreams like the airborne laser to shoot down ICBMs and get cancelled. It’ll probably end up getting caught in Chinese fisherman’s net like all the other remote controlled underwater devices the US deploys.

USA ONLY supports KMT's loss to Taiwan, the assassination of Daili, arms embergo but plenty of 2nd-hand warships.
That is General Stillwell's whole purpose in China theater.

In a way, Russia and China to a lesser extent Iran share the same fate, they have to rise as an adversary of the existing dominant world order.

There is no easy path.

Japan decline happend right in front of them. ( it should not have happened consider how they did things in previous cold war) and i think this is creating this perception of weakness of non white. They are giving Japanese another opportunity so it can come out from the deep hole. Every thing has a history behind it.
Russia is not just there to contain Europe but in next iteration its Muslim population will have access to resources of entire Soviet space and much more aligned with views of Gulf Arabs. This is the wealth and demographic trends. These Gulf Emirates can right see through the BS that comes out from other places. who knows what kind of satellite and intelligence data.
