On a side note, it's amazing how Taiwan had all these brains decades years ago. And now for some reason, they only have mostly have DPP tier retards now. Where on earth did all the brains go?
Some went to the West. Where they would be celebrated by the Western and Boba media. Unfortunate, but that is always gonna happen anyway.

Many had actually silently went to China. These guys will never be reported. Even the Chinese media might wanna keep this quiet, so as not to alert the Americans and the DPP. Its not like China cares about the publicity either. China had reached 7nm chip production last year, which is like 20 years ahead of schedule according to Western analysts. The technique to use DUV lithography machines to make 7nm chips was pioneered by Taiwanese TSMC engineers. So, it is not out of this world to say that many of the crucial brains in Taiwan are coming to contribute in China. I'm looking forward for 5nm and 3nm chips coming out of China much sooner than the West could even imagine. Their panic would be very interesting to watch.

2 days ago — Successful candidates will undergo 18 months of initial training in Taiwan and must be willing to relocate to India. Roles open for Taiwanese ...
Any Taiwanese who wants to leave Taiwan and between China and India picks India deserves all the pain he gets when he lands there. There's a reason you see Indians moving to China for work but almost never the other way round.

They must be paying some real damn good money to get any quality guys to move there. But then again I think all the money in the world would not be enough for those guys to remain sane.

Look up Burn Lin. He's a Taiwanese guy whos the brains behind lithography. Asml and tsmc cut a deal which is how asml came to acquire such technology.

As far as I'm concerned asml as basically leeching off that guys work. That's why they are scared China is scared they will have their own Burn Lin coz then asml's leeching will end. If the day China produces another one of him, you shall see.

BUT we got Liang Mong Song and he hasten the rapid development of China Chip industries and also don't forget Richard Chang Ru-gin the founder of SMIC, He's the one who laid the foundation.

I believe Chinese consumers should boycott any US or Chinese firm that exports factories to India; India is an unfriendly country and is a potential enemy within this century. Exporting jobs and factories to bangladesh and vietnam is fine since they are relatively friendly but india actively wants to fight and die for white supremacy. So let them.

What is this forums take on Europe's decline??

Is Europe's decline only economical??

Or are they falling behind in influence, military and technology as well??
Around the time of the 2003 Iraq war a French statesman (forget who) said "Europe is on the exit ramp from history". He was right then and doubly right now.

There remain pockets of excellence in Europe but overall its economic, political and military influence is waning remarkably fast.

Name me a single high tech product that India produces with more than 50% local supply chain?

Answer: None

India can't even make mid tier smartphones.

Cars?? None

Electronics? None

Military weapons? None. They rely on Russian technology.

Although they can make agni missiles but not high tech weapons.

The only thing India exports is IT services but that's not going to help India gain self-sufficiency. India doesn't have any leverage

This is already well known by Taiwan

They are putting exit bans on engineers going to mainland China.

Taiwan also amended its Cross-Strait Act in 2022 to require its national engineers with core technological skills to apply for permits if they want to work for mainland Chinese firms but have not left their previous positions for three years.

The actions taken by the US and Taiwan are reminiscent of the USSR. How is the USSR doing now?
