A popular X user @RnaudBertrand, complained on the social media platform regarding France's administrative inefficiency noting that the country has the most expensive admin budget in the world yet it's very mediocre at best when providing actual services to its citizens. Here's his post on X.

Is there not a western country that's actually good, decent, if not great of taking care of the needs of its citizens other than gaslighting them as racists, undesirables etc. for wanting actual good and competent governance?

An Era of Economic Warfare: Examining the EU’s Economic Security Strategy

Amidst Chinese overcapacity in manufacturing and its continued innovation in the industries of the future, the European Commission released a Joint Communication in June 2023 proposing a European strategy for economic security, with major updates as of January 2024. A subsequent recommendation called for a risk assessment of four technology areas—supply chains, critical infrastructure, technology security, and weaponization risks—with a more fleshed-out strategy being developed with member states.

But what does the European Commission really mean by “economic security” and what will the evolving strategy actually look like? There are many questions surrounding the European Union’s (EU) approach that go beyond the imprecise definition of the phrase and lack of any mention of China. They, in part, involve struggles over the balance of power between the commission and the member states—not to mention Russia’s invasion of Ukraine—which could hinder the implementation of any strategy.

The deindustrialization of Europe is caused by the US because it's the US that cut them off from cheap energy.

France lost to Algeria and Vietnam with absolute air superiority, what makes them to think that they can handle Russia under a contested airspace?

That's the France that wants to fight Russia. Give me a break!

Some big corporations in America are in cahoots with their government to do censorship.

It's time of the year again, when Chinese people are willingly abused by their government.

Oh, so that is why Buzzfeed sucks ass lately, is a main stream media outlet. I really did like worth it on buzz feed but i guess most people would prefer not to deal with what ever mainstream is pedaling nowadays

Also a sadistic part of me wants to see France try to take on Russia again, if only so that it rapidly speeds up the prospects to seeing Macron being hung from a lamp post after they see French soldiers getting blown to pieces via a hypersonic missile when they had ample warning from Russia not to fuck around and find out

Also if that is abuse, then damn count me in, that honestly looks fun, does the west no longer have a chill

Rather uncharacteristic for China to be this direct but maybe for extreme scenarios it is needed. Still doubt China announced it out loud though.

Like most things. If China really did say it then Western Media (especially financial leaning sites) would be posting about this non stop. It has already been an hours or two since this was posted on the internet. The only source continues to be that telegram channel.

Depends what you mean by China. China the state or an active serving Chinese general and official. The former never say anything like this but the later usually does. Examples are the stories of Chinese active serving generals saying "exchaning US western seaboard" and "turning Taiwan into scortched earth". It is as serious and representitive as that. Is the later any less "official" and serious? It is up to the listener. One thing we know is that we havenever heard of anyone being fired for saying so.

China will never officially say spell out direct military intervention untill China is already in the fight. See Korean war, US/French Vietnam war, Sino-Vietnam war and Indo-China war. What China said prior to shooting were always "we will not sit idle, don't say I did not warn you", China never said what exactly the action would be. The article 9 of the current Sino-Russo friendship treaty has already paved the way for any kind of action that both China and Russia may agree to, not excluding direct military intervention. China wont openly say anything more than that. In a way, the warning to NATO has already been sent in 2001 through that treaty.

In fact, arguing whether this kind words were said or not is missing the point. China's position is pretty clear, whether that is bluntantly spelled out or not doesn't matter.

It that the Dai minority water festival?

I try to find a video for that, with a foreigner in it.

The first time I saw that in a documentary movie, there was this foreigner, and we have to remember this was Mao's China.

Every one stood ready, then it started. All the Dai people splashed their bucket of water onto that single white foreigner, who looked like a tall balding old professor of some sort. In about 10 seconds he was drenched in water, but he was still trying to fling some water around. He stood there while everyone else was running around like crazy.

It looks sort of like this.

indians, like their Anglo counterparts have extremely fragile egos.
let’s see, Indias already lost the Maldives, lost most of their regional neighbourhood to Chinese economic influence, such that Indians are sending 10k soldiers to the border, and are losing out to China in terms of FDI.

Another so-called "Western Liberal/leftist academic" becoming unhinged and retarded when it comes to the discussion of Russia. The dude is fawning in his mouth with all the rage against Russia calling them "Conservative fanatics and religious fundamentalist, no different than the Arabs" oopsie!! someone is going to be pretty upset that Arab power is not being recognized. I guess Mr. Slavoj Žižek isn't sophisticated enough huh.

COVID-19 was a huge blessing for the Modi administration in the sense that it allowed them to get away with subpar economic growth. Since 2019, India's GDP has grown at an average rate of 3.6% a year (+3.9% in 2019, -5.8% in 2020, +9.1% in 2021, +7.2% in 2022). Source:

9.1% and 7.2 are impressive numbers, but not in the context of what happened in 2019 and 2020. That didn't stop the BJP from bragging about them. India needed double-digit growth for at least a few years to get its economy back on track. India's GDP needed to grow by 19.8% in 2021 to bring its average growth rate for 2020 and 2021 to 7%. That didn't happen, the BJP touted the 9.1% growth as a miraculous achievement, and people bought it.

This is precisely why democracy doesn't work in a largely uneducated nation.
