That Grace Chong is so pathetic, another example of a Chinese female sellout - shilling for Bannon of all people. Do these people not understand that they will be the first on the chopping block if there is war against China?
Why are you RACIST? Don't you understand that GRACE CHONG is A TRUE BLUE BLOODED AMERICAN WOMAN. She does not see colour but red, white and Blue. It's only racist people like you that tends to always point out race when you don't like the things that comes out of her American mouth, provided by God himself to the founding fathers. It's a virtue and a fact that wumaos like yourself and this writer can't even fathom to comprehend and appreciate. America= DEMOCRACY & FREEDOM!!

If Taiwan wanted protection, they can apply to the mainland authorities, kind of stupid to claim infringement if you don't believe in their laws. Actually, protection of this kind (natural plants) is very new in mainland altogether.

From the Taipei Times article

KMT used to be in power too, lol

From NPR

Yet somehow the Taiwan official is claiming this

As we know, DPP is well known for their steadfast honesty. I'm sure the mainland is openly inviting DPP officials into research institutes.

Keyword is "alleged", so no actual proof
Also the newspaper is "Liberty Times", DPP affiliated outfit

The truth is buried at the end

They are resorting to alleged theft because you have closed off the mainland market to them. After losing so much weight, Pompeo can't eat that many pineapples anymore. Your japanese "fathers"/masters also don't eat enough pineapples, so sorry.
And so begins the another pineapple war. But Taiwan has nothing to fight for anyways. What is grown on Chinese soil (Taiwan) belongs to China anyway.

Fruit wars are futile against China. Previously, Japan tried to launch a Shine Muscat grape war with China (and South Korea). Still, consumers couldn't care less.

“My boyfriend bought me a bunch of Japanese Shine Muscat worth about HK$400 (US$51) as a gift. But for me, they tasted similar to Chinese ones,” she said. If it was up to her she would choose the cheaper grape, she added.

But hey, Japan had stole from China: Sakura, Umeboshi, Mikan, Yuzu, Tea, and more. So I don't mind China stealing something back from Japan as compensation.

Macron Ready to Send Troops to Ukraine if Russia Approaches Kyiv or Odesa

French President Emmanuel Macron met with parliamentary parties on Thursday. During the meeting Macron said he was open to the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine, as announced by, according to French newspaper L’Independent.

Fabien Roussel, a representative of the French Communist Party, said after the meeting that “Macron referenced a scenario that could lead to intervention [of French troops]: the advancement of the front towards odessa or kyiv.”

He noted that the French President showed parliamentarians maps of the possible directions of strikes by Russian troops in Ukraine.

Following the meeting, Jordan Bardella of the far-right National Rally party noted that “there are no restrictions and no red lines” in Macron’s approach.

Manuel Bompard of the La France Insoumise party expressed increased concern after the meeting. “I came to the meeting worried and left even more worried,” he said.

The possibility of Western ground troops in Ukraine was also discussed at a conference in Paris on Feb. 26, when Macron told the press: “Currently, there is no consensus on sending troops. But in this matter, nothing should be ruled out in the future.”

He added: “We will do everything possible to prevent Russia from winning this war.”

During discussions, the President of Poland Andrzej Duda noted that the “hottest discussion” revolved around the idea of troop deployment, although no definitive decisions were made. In response to questions about other countries considering troop deployment, Duda mentioned a lack of enthusiasm among participants.

Almost as if the original goal was on seizing control of the Black Sea.

Lol.
Those green tinted windows are found everywhere on the globe, especially in hot climates. It reduces the sun's glare and heat influx, lowering the cost associated with running air-conditioners. In cold climates, they are often used on windows facing the sun. Air conditioning is expensive.

Look at the minaret (pillar) next to the red dome, in the pic you posted. This is Turkic architecture, not Arab. See below,

Now compare above Turkic with below Arab (these are some of the oldest constructions in Arab lands, before the Turkic invasions),

I think you are not aware that Russia has a very large Turkic Muslim population.

Makes no sense. You are the public. You're imagining that royal Arabic families are actually Israel supporters and thus using some soft power to help Israel against Arabs? In actuality, whatever kindness or blind eye they turn to Israeli attrocities against Muslims is because they are forced by the greater hard power of the US.
The Saudis and Israel have a common enemy: Iran. Past several decades the Saudis have shifted their attention away from Palestine and towards Iran.

Puahahaha LOLOL No oil = no money. Why would anyone follow them? Because they're so cool; people love to hang out in the desert in 120 degree weather looking at their robes flutter? LOL Arabs wouldn't even have food to eat if it weren't for their oil. No poor country has "soft power"; you have confused the Arabs buying influence with their hard power money made from their hard power oil with "soft power."
Saudis have some considerable influence in Islamic countries, especially the conservative ones (which most are anyways), not just because of their wealth but also because they are the 'Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' (prestige effect).

Saudis set the quota of who can and cannot travel to the holy land for pilgrimage. That directly has an effect on other countries' population's opinion of their leader. For example, Iranian Muslims are routinely restricted access while Israeli Muslims are not.

Saudi "donors" also play a heavy hand in other Islamic countries, especially with foreign politicians and military.

Nonsense. You clearly don't remember the early parts of 2020 do you? There was panic, but there was no mass demands for a lockdown before it was implemented.

The lockdowns were not popular, even though people understood and went along with it. They were only more supportive of it only in hindsight after the government had implemented it.

Don't just bring up Covid lockdowns! Talk about the other policies too. Don't cherry pick. Make your arguments more comprehensive!
Lock down was a popular demand. People constantly made fun of foriegn countries dying by the mass. It only showed discontent when it lasted for years. Everyone was praising government for responsive action back then. Hindsight bias is happening for sure.

Even when few month before lock down was lifted, the prevailing opinion was that the protestors are selfish. Those who side with protestors are the minority.
