China needs to spend enough on defense. Otherwise the same thing will happen as in late Qing.
Of course it makes no sense to spend the horrendous amounts the US does to maintain its global empire.
I pretty sure a measured response to this situation will suit China fine, I mean with the kind of money being rammed through American congress only to get marginal returns at best and most of that money basically used to enrich the elites with most of the weapons produced isn’t some state of the art weapon but relics from the past that are no longer cream of the crop in Terms of capability, I think the USA is all but resembling the late Qing in everything but the name. Although unlike the Qing dynasty and the advent of China after wards, I am certain that with the people as detached from reality that they are, that this future downfall that will happen sooner or later will not have any one to help pick up the pieces again since well, I can safely say that even in the Qing dynasty, they are signs of reformers that Brought China out of the ashes, the USA doesn’t have such heroes, they have fat pigs that keep on screaming for more money that is soon going to lose all value in the coming days along with these letter institutes that will eventually end up on a global hunting campaign when the time comes. Honestly, people can warn the USA of the danger but the people in the seats of power are too pig headed to listen, I mean just look at the walking vegetable called Biden falling down the stairs repeatedly for the hundredth time any idiot would send him to a home but not in the USA it seems given how over priced it must be right now

The American market has unique characteristic. The vehicles are larger in size and alot of parts goes to Mexico for final assembly. If Mexico imports more Chinese vehicles. it just frees up Mexico domestic production. I doubt Mexico earns enough to afford American style vehicles. Corolla in US is 2.0 litre engine (larger engine longer life). while Asia its 1.2 or 1.5 or that old 1.8.
they are looking into Chinese content in European vehicles.

Why do you say that?

I do not think you have ever been to America.

What kind of cars do Americans drive? Just being on the street corner we can tell what kind of cars sell in America.

Hint, they are not all made in Mexico.

Mexico is approaching $200b Auto exports and 90% will be to US. I am sure parts from Japan and SKorea also plays big part.
Korea/Japan/US/Mexico/Canada are highly integrated now.

The value of Mexico’s automotive sector exports increased by a double-digit percentage for the third consecutive year in the first 11 months of 2023 to reach a record high of almost US $173 billion.

It is way cheaper to maintain a conventional carrier than a nuclear one. Type 003 is also a vast overmatch against Japanese and South Korean carriers.
It is not the carrier but human capital that operate, maintain, built and develop it. You are looking at industrial chain that goes into hundreds of thousands of people for essentially providing a large target at sea. US has geography and distributive power advantage.
if any other country built such large ship yard. it will attract cruise missiles on scale that has never happened before and these carrier will be floating rust bucket at sea without support for next deployment.
look closely looked at Ukraine war. all the drones and cruise missiles from Ukraine goes where there is relatively flat surface. it never pass the Caucasus mountains.

Isn't it more likely for a hot war now rather than later? As China closes the gap in military with the US each day, wouldn't it be in their best interest to fight when they are advantaged?
US is more likely to encourage it's frontline vassal states to sacrifice themselves to preserve US hegemony, but ever since Korea and Vietnam, US has been too casualty adverse to sacrifice the troops necessary to dominate China. The US military has advantages, but still require great sacrifice, does US has the political willpower to endure? Best sacrifice the lambs like Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine as proxy wars.

This is panic.

Good luck. They will need it.

They can save the American market for themselves, and the world market is up for grabs.
Well bro they can't fleece the American consumer forever, an example is a $100,000 for a gas guzzling F150 truck. At such amount how can the average Joe pay for it not including the cost of running and maintaining it.
