where you get this idea that Tourism is associated with Beach and Warm weather?. i guess your not looking at cold weather destination numbers and there much higher prices due to winter sports.
Going to UAE has alot other reasons. UAE has to cater to tourism because if it is interconnecting hub of East and West and most importantly Africa. What Russia is developing is real tourism disconnected from world in places like Arctic and create Mediterranean feel in Crimea and Southern Russia. Sochi alone is i think adding 150K hotel rooms and they already have some thing like 200K rooms.

Chinese have abandoned shopping and no mention of Beach. the problem is alot of tourist attractions are not where they are going.

From the list of top tourist destinations.
Who wants to see cold weather? Not many. How many want to go skiing, or rather, how many even know how? Crimea, Sochi, Southern Russia is a popular tourist destination only for Russians, because it's the warmest place in the country. Egypt, Turkey, and UAE are warmer.

I live in a cold country (Canada) and our top destination for vacation is Cuba in the warm Caribbean. Trust me, nobody here will skip warm weather for cold.

Tucker is a problem for the western MSM because he is supposed to be cancelled. When you are cancelled, you don’t just disappear, as the deterrence value of that is limited and fleeting.

The western MSM chooses their stars carefully so that only those with a pathological level of vanity and desperate need to be on air gets the anchor jobs.

The beauty of that is twofold. Firstly the threat of being cancelled carries massive weight like an axe hanging over their heads keeping even the biggest names in line.

Secondly, it means that when one of the media darlings step out of line and is cancelled, they don’t just disappear, but go on extreme fringe channels to get their spotlight fix promoting more and more ridiculous stories totally discrediting themselves and justifying the cancelling, but also lingers in the background as cautionary tales to keep the rest in line. Because let’s face it, it’s expensive to make a media star, so the western MSM doesn’t want to have to cancel them too often and burn all that investment.

But someone who is supposed to be cancelled doing interviews with a top world leader is absolutely not on the script. That is the thin end of the wedge! If the western MSM looses its power to cancel people, it also loosens its stranglehold on what is and isn’t allowed to be discussed and thought by the western media and public at large. That is precisely why Putin is giving Tucker the interview.

Well her job is to find money for the government so she coming to China is just doing her job and I can't fault her personal for that.

Now yes, the money she came up with is being wasted in proxy wars by Blinken and Sullivan, and you got others like Raimondo actively making her job harder. All these different departments working against each other is due to the boss offering no unifying vision on which way the ship is sailing, the blame must rest with Biden.
