Yup the elder Marcos authorized its seizure.

In 1971, the Philippines took the opportunity to seize the island from the Republic of China (Taiwan) after the latter left the island due to an oncoming typhoon.

In 1974, Cloma "ceded" his rights over the islands for one peso, after being imprisoned by for "impersonating a military officer by being called an "admiral" while wearing a uniform of the Freedomland Navy. In the same year, Cloma renamed his territory to Kingdom of Colonia St. John and claimed that the cessation of his territory to the Philippine government was invalid as it was made under duress.

The territory was formally annexed into the Philippines by President Ferdinand E. Marcos when he created the Municipality of Kalayaan by signing Presidential Decree No. 1596 into law on June 11, 1978. This established what the document described as "a distinct and separate municipality of the Province of Palawan".

I question if China even "pressed" Iran. Anonymous sources means most likely the Western media made it up. If they haven't attacked Chinese flagged ships, why would China bother doing what the US requests? It's not like the US has ever cared what China requests. It contradicts the accusation that China is exploiting it for its own interests offering their shipping services as an alternative. And don't put it past the Western media wanting Chinese ships attacked because they're helping the US and Israel.

The crew of the tanker abandoned ship as it burned, and it seems Indian Navy destroyer INS Visakhapatnam is picking them up.
That's legit Jai Hind news, there's a US destroyer somewhere around there but Houthi also fired a ballistic missile at then, USS Carney intercepted it but didn't seem like she came to the aid of the tanker.

More like second Indian genocide, Western Elites are aware of Indians infiltrating but as long as they don't have any influence in the Army and police it doesn't matter if they get too successful medias will start malicious campaign followed by an armed take over of assets and concentration camps, Indians are still in their uncle Tom phase, lots of Asian American women and old people too were like this but post covid they have mostly wisensed up, Indian-Americans as a minority still haven't faced their own pogrom in US so culturally the delusion is pretty deep

The previous two Canadian defense ministers were Indian. Interestingly the Indian lady was replaced in July 26, 2023, slightly after the Nijjar Singh's assassination by India.
