Three well-known AI experts in China passed away within two years.

The first one is Dr. Sun Jian, Chief Scientist of Kuangshi Technology. He passed away in 2022 due to a sudden illness at the age of only 45.

The second one is Feng Yanghe, an associate Professor from the University of National Defense Technology, an expert in command and control and AI. On July 1, 2023, Feng Yanghe worked overtime until late at night, but unfortunately passed away in a car accident at the age of only 38.

The third one is Tang Xiaoou, the founder of Shangtang Technology and a renowned AI scientist, who passed away in his sleep on December 15, 2023, at the age of only 55.

AI is one of the most intense areas of the technology war between China and the United States. Although there is no evidence to suggest that the deaths of these three scientists are related to the United States, China's national security department clearly needs to be vigilant.

I don’t believe for a second that these are are just coincidences. These are assassinations. Similar to what happened to Iranian nuclear scientists. If this keeps up, China’s best AI experts will all be gone. AI, quantum, semiconductor, biotechnology experts should be given state protection. MSS need to step up their game.
We don’t live in the era of gentleman scientists or where scientific revolutions were dependant on one man, that’s more indicative of a time when scientific research was the domain of the wealthy class who were the only ones with the time and resources and free time to conduct those researches.
Today, research and breakthroughs are conducted by teams of scientists collaborating with each other, it’s very American thinking to believe they can stop Chinese advances by preventing collaboration between Chinese and Anglo scientists eg Wolfowitz doctrine.

If you have faith in TEPCO's contaminated water treatment, then yeah I feel this is way too quick for the after effects to show up. But given TEPCO's track record, their attempts at covering up leakage into ground water and how all data will be submitted and analysed through them first (no 3rd parties)... I'm leaning towards no.

The tragedy of being a US lackey

LMAO:

It's so bad, even the NYT reported it.
During the first six weeks of the war in Gaza, Israel routinely used one of its biggest and most destructive bombs in areas it designated safe for civilians

Beijing shrugs at U.S. call for help protecting Red Sea shipping

China's disinterest in Red Sea policing role underscores Beijing's reluctance to back its rhetoric on Middle East peace with substantive action.

What a surprise. Western media is lying again. Shocker.

The US did not invite China to be part of the coalition, despite China maintaining a presence in the area, the official said.
