Yep, that is something many Indian trolls liked to do: Hide behind some false persona/nationality. We have seen many pretenders on social media saying: "I'm Chinese, and I hate the evil See See Pee". These Jai Hind trolls like to proclaim that they are some kind of superior master race above those "puny Chinese", yet hide behind other nationalities when trolling the Chinese. But when their buttons get pushed, watch them go into some impotent rage, spewing some of the most vile and racist insults. This is the typical mindset of many Indian goons; they would rather come at someone from the back, than to face them one on one like a man. They are a pathetic, insecure, and soft bunch of cowards. I used to get quite annoyed by these people, but now mostly I laugh at them for how pathetic they actually are.

To be fair, Middle Eastern countries tend to employ Indian migrant workers for menial physical tasks like construction for the Qatari World Cup. So Indians will probably be involved just that it will be at the lowest levels.

Interference don't have to be violent. It could be keeping tabs on the internal factions of a country, and drop hints here and there. For example, Russian intelligence warned Erdogan of possibly military coup.

China can manage its neighbor without getting hands bloody.

Attempting to infiltrate rival groups and passing themselves off as their rivals is a trait common amongst indo europeans. No asian bothers to go to this length of trouble but Indians and anglos need to parasitically mimic their rivals.
