You joke but the USG has been on the record for having sent soldiers who mutilated and cannibalised the enemy, from at least WW2 and Vietnam.

re the “deal” that the USG is offering China… it’s the same deal as back in Anchorage and the same deal back when Obama was in office just after China bailed out the U.S. and right before the U.S. ungratefully “pivoted” to Asia.
I started reading that article but stopped before I could finish. I have come to the conclusion that the world must prepare for war between US and China, if it doesn't happen now it will happen later unless there is a huge geopolitical catastrophe. What I got from that article is that the Europeans (white folks) are not ready to share the world and (except you firmly declare you're in their camp) don't want to lose their privileged position they've had for centuries, the leading European civilization today (the US) will fight like hell to make sure the current order is maintained. In their minds, they are the good guys and everybody else are the bad guys , even when they go again the rules is for the long term good. China must yield and obey, anything else is an affront to them and must be pegged back. Their god complex is incredible. For the rest of the world's sake, we can only hope that China's rise re-calibrates the world because it's long overdue.

IF you read history The same can be said of the Chinese HUBRIS and the end result is a hundred years of humiliation. For the collective west the most possible outcome is a system collapse just like the Romans.

The CCP are keen student of history, being complacent is a major ingredients for a nation decay, an idiom taken to heart by the Chinese, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Moreover, the chance/signs of civil war in the US is increasing (after such a collapse).

Like I would rate it at moderately, but with current developments/trends continuing, it will increase to likely.

The German government’s pro-Israel stance on the Gaza war is not supported by the public, a new poll revealed on Friday.

The poll by the Allensbach Institute found that majority of Germans are against taking side in the Israel-Palestine conflict, and strongly oppose providing military support to Israel.

Some 43% of those surveyed said Germany should stay out of the conflict, and only 34% said they agree with the view that Germany bears special responsibility for Israel due to its Nazi past.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz has repeatedly said that Israel’s security is non-negotiable, and in the current conflict with Hamas, Germany “has only one place,” and that is “firmly at the side of Israel.”

In the poll, only 31% of respondents backed Scholz’s approach, and said they are supporting Israel’s military campaign in Gaza against Hamas.

In contrast, 38% of those surveyed said Israel should be urged to exercise restraint to prevent casualties among the Palestinian civilian population.

The poll showed that majority of the Germans expects the government to take a more balanced stance and step up efforts for a diplomatic solution to the conflict.

Overall, 57% of Germans said Scholz’s government should pursue a mediating role between the warring parties.

Meanwhile, 17% of the respondents criticized the Israeli government, saying it does not want peace at all.

Around 38% said Israel has “too little understanding for its Arab neighbors” and “unjustly occupying territories.”

Asked about German government’s offer of military support to Israel, majority of the respondents opposed sending ammunition or weapons.

Some 8% of Germans said they support sending weapons, and only 3% said the German armed forces Bundeswehr should offer support Israel in its military campaign.

Good thing none of these countries are democracies that have to worry about things such as popular opinion then!

I recall in the pre/early war period, western countries were falling over themselves trying to prove their pro-Israel stance, basically dog whistling it was okay to respond disproportionately to the October 7th attacks, Palestinian lives be damned. Western mainstream media fell in line and presented a pro-Israel stance and did its best to garner sympathy for the Israelis and present the "other" as wild and dangerous even deserving everything coming to them. They severely misjudged the mood of the young generation of people who were born in this information era and have armed themselves with knowledge of what's really going on, after protests and online awareness campaigns shedding light as to what the Palestinians are going through the pressure got to the shot callers. All of a sudden, even though still very much pro-Israeli western, MSM is starting to put a bit of human face to Palestinians, Biden is threatening visa bans to Israeli extremists, dodo brain Macron is warning the Israelis against using disproportionate force, etc. A whole clown show, even doing their best to turn the spotlight away from their support for genocide by shouting "Hey but what about those Uyghurs over there!"

Perhaps newer folks don't know, but SinoSoldier has always actually been an IndoSoldier.
HE IS, AND THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING AN INDIAN.

I already called him out on his shenanigans in the past, inserting himself in Chinese affairs and internal issues which baffled the bleep out of me considering how easily butthurt they act when the shoes is on their feet eg. Kashmir and other issues that of Indian domestic origin. I also find it interesting why he named himself as "SINOSOLDIER" when he's not SINO in every meaning of the word.
