More reason for China to ditch windows and ms office product line.

“Microsoft has no direct indications of malicious activities by this entity,” Microsoft said in its 16-page report. “However, pending further discovery, we suggest the possibility that the computing power of an industrial-level cryptomining operation, along with the presence of an unidentified number of Chinese nationals in direct proximity to Microsoft’s Data Center and one of three strategic-missile bases in the U.S., provides significant threat vectors.”

Once again USA is nothing but pot calling kettle black master at projection...

Bitcoin was CIA project like TOR, to be able to fund its black ops, later as it grew it turned into a means to extent the petrodollar...along the way crypto mining subsidized Nvidia, which in turn propped up Tesla, (Musk is CIA frontman) and basically the bulk of America's AI advances was propped up by the rest of the world paying for asic miners and inflated gpus which lead the way to modern deep machine learning AI..... all the while securing America's position on top so it can turn around and pull another con trick in the form of Digital OPEC, using its hold and choke on AI and semiconductors to prolong the US dollar reserve currency status

This is as hypocritical as US labeling China the currency manipulator

And for what its worth, Microsoft has been backdooring Windows for the NSA since 1995

Unfortunately, it took a real genocide to debunk a fake genocide.
I think few real people even believed a so called "genocide" with no pictures and no refugees to begin with.

Much more importantly, the serial fumbling of Israel's violent methods seem to have vindicated Beijing's approach. In the starting days of the terrorist incursions, a sizeable portion of China also believed in mobilizing the army. It is now undeniable that the end result for Xinjiang is much superior to the western method, as the Chinese government not only has control of the ground, but also won the hearts of locals and other citizens as well.

However, this type of vindication can be dangerous. Of course, the 2 situations of Gaza and Taiwan cannot be more different in terms of moral justification, but there will inevitably be parallels drawn within China's political sphere. A failure of the hard approach in Gaza might result in the successful argumentation of doves in China to further softening the approach in Taiwan, which could embolden foreign actors into attacking.

Are you saying if the US is mass arresting former Chinese citizens that China shouldn't feel pressure to do anything? I imagine this would create a huge issue in China whether or not this young woman's case existed or not...

The weibo post's veracity has been called into question, but even if we assume it is true, there is no indication there that officials are negotiating for her release. It might only go as far as checking into her well being, as is often done by Swedish consular staff on behalf of other nations in North Korea, so it is not unprecedented.

What favours could Hamas expect from China anyway? Over and over again the Chinese government says the best way is a 2 state solution. If anything, it would only potentially make things worse if they killed her.
Without a precedent people would simply rally behind the government would only make China's position stronger as there is no expectation but with precedent government would be expected to deliver the results this time too and will be judged it's a difficult position to be in, As for Hamas China can reject any unreasonable favours put forth by them but then you would be making an enemy it's not worth it
