I just want to know if US tech leaders ever thought that Chinese people wouldn’t retaliate for their own part in the Anglo American attempts at keeping Chinese people poor and impoverished?

The boomers are the worst, brattiest, most self-entitled and dumbest generation there is. They inherited a super power from the Greatest Generation, got a flawless geopolitical victory handed to them on a silver platter via dissolution of Soviet Union, and look what they’ve done with it!

If those a-holes finally get the Pacific War that they want so much I hope no one under the age of 65 gets drafted. It’ll be quite a sight watching the incoherently blabbering and adult diaper wearing geriatrics marching to their doom instead of young people.

Congressman Jamaal Bowman who pulled the alarm is a democrat. But yea all the signs point to US leaving the war in Ukraine.

That congressman is a former school principal. So the “he thought it would open the door” is pretty bad excuse when those alarms are clearly marked as fire alarms. He knows exactly what a fire alarm looks like.

Let's start...with the ending.

A firstpost..which is an Indian site of course, quoting "one diplomat" who mustn't be named?

NATO-style defense guarantees --->>> Come on, how long murikanns have been whining about their "expenses" in Europe, defending them?
Anything resembling that would be a death sentence for murikkans, given the region. And i don't see how they are going to get in that quagmire given how exhausted they are "defending" Europe.
Compared to snowball that is Europe where creating NATO articles is very easy by the way, West Asia is an active volcano. At this point Murikkans neither have the financial capacity or the supply chain capacity to support this. West can't really keep China out of there because of Iran-Iraq-Syria axis already exists. And Russia is already there. West couldn't do it 20 years ago when they were playing in empty field.

Keeping Palestine out of question, KSA wants this because their loads of wealth are held in usd, that's the epitome of problem. But they need to keep in mind what the consequences would be if they go ahead with this. They need to keep in mind that there exists an alternate supply chain of energy. They shouldn't overplay their hands.
If Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait and others have US military essentially protecting them so why you think it will be hard to extend to to KSA?
its not usd but Boeing plays oversize role in KSA both Civil and Military that is impossible to replace. all those things need constant support. how do you think Kingdom going to invite millions of tourists, workers and pilgrims?. A country depended on overseas people need more aviation support than others. basically KSA thinks that if it has relations with Israel it will lessen the burden on both US and Israel that will make US more inclined in defending Saudi.

It's the leaded gasoline and paint they grew up with. You can expect the same results for those who were mentally developing up until the 1970s.
People seem to think I'm joking. In reality, this is pretty sad. It's up there in fucked-up-ness with people using Agent Orange to cool their bodies during the summer.

One major symptom of developmental exposure to lead is a lack of empathy.
