No wonder little Marco and others are becoming scared of tiktok....;)

It is actually no laughing matter. I think that Tiktok actually does open the eyes of Western millennials, albeit not in a heavy handed manner. The random dance videos and comedy skits do not preach Xi Jinping thoughts or Communist Manifesto, but the background — even in fifth tier cities/towns or even villages, show a modern, clean, well managed nation in which people are respectful to one another. There are cosplayers, video game culture, anime/animesque animation and other things that Western millennials enjoy. This makes them subconsciously challenge the image of a monstrous China projected by MSM for the past seven decades.

Case in point:

Funny how a silly dance video series by a Puyi cosplayer managed to sneak in so much Chinese propaganda.

brb somehow i now have an urge to order and read Xi Jinping thought like a Blackrock China branch executive...

But on a serieus point i find the LivingInChina youtube channel from that Jason guy really interesting because he doesn't lives in a tier 1 city. But the tier 4 or 5 city he does lives in already looks good. If what he says is true that the rent on his appartement is like $100/month, then im really jealous.

You confuse actions with words. As I said, their actions affect the world, which are dictated by the power dynamic. We focus on actions, not their useless words.

That's what I said. China works hard to develop ourselves to change the power dynamic in our favor. We don't react to or care about their senseless barking. This is the opposite of what you have been advocating for.

If they are making fools out of themselves with no gains, that is fine.

That's wasting time reacting, a dragon with the world to bend spending time arguing with a little rat that has nothing better to do than cut his own ropes in the middle of the sea. The dragon should be at home making his scales harder, this fangs and claws sharper, and his fire hotter. And even if we do argue, even with all this time wasted, what would be the result? The media is censored in every country that is against China so that China's view is not heard and can only be found by those actively seeking it anyway. PR stunts are a total waste of time; strength is the only PR that shines through.
I worry for China's next generation of leaders. Rash actions and arrogance will be the end of everything China's has gained. The Americans want another Cold War because they believe since they won the last one they can win another one. China knows this and so far hasn't played the game the Americans wants China to play. You move with irrationality and you end up like Russia.

There is much to worry about in Africa before getting to China, which maintains itself as the fastest growing and largest economy in the world now spearheaded by this generation to win the tech war with the west.

LOL Cold War, Hot War, Trade War, Tech War, no war, China will win them all. Why should China fear their Cold War just because it defeated the Soviets, which had a far lesser population and poorer economy, lagging impossibly behind in many crucial scientific fields? The US thinks it won a boxing match with an 100 pound old man so it can win one against a 250 pound young athlete? The difference is not the type of fight but it is made by the type of fighter. Boxing, Taekwondo, Karate, Jiujitsu, etc... facing a small old man is nothing compared to facing a prime athlete several times larger.
China knows this and so far hasn't played the game the Americans wants China to play.
We played the trade war and won; we played the tech war and basically already won even though we're just getting started; we can play any game they want to play or don't want to play and beat them at it. They dig whatever shape grave they want and we put them in it.
You move with irrationality and you end up like Russia.
You're the one talking first about listening to your enemies and arguing with the Philippines over some garbage footage nobody can prove and then saying that reacting is disadvantageous. Your "logic" is the irrationality here. Your comparison is also irrational. China's economy, population, technolgical level, etc... has nothing comparable with Russia, no matter how we move. And Finally, your debate "skills" are irrational as none of your posts actually answer my points, but just start other ones.

Incorrect. The Soviet Union had more population than the US until its collapse in 1991.

Western Europe did have more population than Eastern Europe though. So both economic blocks were quite disparate, especially when you take South Korea and Japan into account as well.

Oops, I was thinking about just the Russians, which are the backbone and all major muscles of the SU. I didn't even get to the other incredibly important aspect yet, which is that the Soviets were not a cohesive country, but a bloc of countries that did not act with the same coherence or dedication to victory as one nation... reminds me of the EU. And even with the full Soviet population considered, it was still similar to the American population, absolutely nothing like being ran over 4 times like China's population to the US, made of people who smart enough to be the top students in every STEM class in the US, further imbued with a tradition of striving and sacrificing for excellence and honor. China's the biggest fake underdog in history LOL
