Falsifying data has been a big issue with Japanese companies for a long time. Ford and GM work with Japanese OEMs and have been forced to replace entire parts after real data is uncovered, usually after several accidents. I think it might be cultural. Japanese companies are not highly regarded in terms of honesty among supply chain folks.

They literally spent double the amount of money covering up the issue than actually dealing with the wastewater. Who is the authoritarian shithole state now?

Trump campaigned on locking up Hilary Clinton, but when he won he didn't do a thing.
Biden on the other hand didn't make cheap threats in his campaign. But when in power he casually gets Trump locked up for the rest of his life.
Trump is a talker, Biden is a doer.
So when is the doer gonna stop his son from embarrassing himself every two days?
