China has a lot of interests, and some of them are in competition with each other. Reality says you can't always get everything you want. A nuclear NK is preferable to there not being a NK at all.
That’s the thing. China’s conventional forces already can guarantee the existence of NK. A nuclearized NK will simply complicate things, not in a good way for China.

Iranians celebrating by shooting AKs towards the sky… no wait a minute those are Frenchmen.

They even got explosives lmao.
As an ethnic Chinese, I stand by the values of freedom of speech, liberty, human rights, justice, democracy, openness, transparency, rule of law, and democracy. I call on the French government to honour these values by respecting and supporting these peaceful protestors.

In the interests of upholding freedom of speech, liberty, human rights, justice, democracy, openness, transparency, rule of law, and democracy, I also heavily condemn the French government's subjugation of the people's lawful right to peaceful protest. Should the brutal civilian crackdown continue, French authorities must be brutally punished by the Chinese nation, which stands unequivocally on the side of freedom of speech, liberty, human rights, justice, democracy, openness, transparency, rule of law, and democracy.

Not really China’s business to tell the French how to behave. It’s in French history to engage in these kind of protest/revolutions. Why decrease Chinas standing by giving the west for ammunition to be used for useless whining when the French can do it all on their own without the Washington spin doctors being able to do anything but ‘THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS’

As a Chinese, I just want the brave, independent, freedom-loving people of France to realize democracy. If that means overthrowing their evil, corrupt, genocidal, dictatorial government, then so be it. If that means the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, it's a sacrifice I'm easily prepared to make. Democracy does not come cheap.

To anyone who accuses me of hating the French, I don't hate the people, only the government. In fact, nobody loves French people more than I do. Trust me, I even have a French wife.
