3 days of rioting and the French police are up in arms? Lol.

French police demand government acts, threaten ‘resistance’

The two largest police unions in France called on Friday for President Emmanuel Macron’s government to “restore order” and not capitulate to rioters, saying they were fighting a war today but may well become “the resistance” tomorrow.

“Now that’s enough,” said the statement by the Alliance Police Nationale and UNSA Police, posted on Facebook on Friday evening.

“Faced with these wild hordes, asking for calm is no longer enough, you have to impose it!” the unions said, adding that the only political signal needed at this moment is to restore the order in the republic. “Our colleagues, like the majority of citizens, can no longer endure the dictates of these violent minorities. Now is not the time for union action but for the fight against these ‘harm-makers’. Submitting, capitulating and pleasing them by laying down our arms is not the solution, given the gravity of the situation.”

This kind of view is exactly why the US is risking WW3 in order to "contain" China. Hegemonic policies are self-defeating in the long run. China is walking a different path.
Do you agree nuclear proliferation is not in China’s interest?

How the West thinks they can cancel China and it'll have no effect upon them is pure delusion. That's why all this talk about decoupling and de-risking is a deception. The West is trying to play chicken thinking China will veer off first and surrender to all Western demands.

The West doesn't have the supplies and all this alarm over supply chains shows how they're at a disadvantage. Why are they worried over supply chains? It's because that's what they were doing to China with denying semiconductors hoping to force China to surrender to their demands. Then all of sudden they realized China can do it to them. That's why they're alarmed because they fired the first shot. They opened that door. They were blinded because they were talking advanced technology thinking that was more important. Now the US is suffering from shortages of medical supplies, not because China is denying them from the US. It's because they created this atmosphere warning their companies not to buy from China. Now they're saying thousands upon thousands of Americans can die because they're not getting their chemotherapy medication to fight cancer. In their haste they don't have an alternate supplier but it's still going to cost them more if or when they do because they only got them from China because it was cheapest place to get it.

It's all the innocuous things in life that will hurt most when denied. Let's use nails as an example. They may get nails from China because it's the cheapest for a penny each. If they have to buy from someone else whose the next cheapest at 5 cents each, the cost for them to buy nails just went up fives time. How many nails are used to build things in the world? That's a lot of money. I recently talked about the reverse. The West is not selling any advanced technology to China. What is advance technology to them. It's anything that they have that China can't get anywhere else. It means the only thing that the West can make money from are the things China can buy from somewhere else. China can make it where the West is making no money from the Chinese 1.4 billion people market. The world loves China as a customer because they make more money from China than the US or else the West wouldn't be all worried over supply chains. China has the supplies the West needs.

You can have Western technology but maybe too expensive to make it commercial. For example I've pointed to technology making a video image appear in a pane of glass. It's US technology but they had to get the Chinese to work on it to make it cheaper. I actually saw a recent YouTube video about China of a metro train where one of the windows was displaying a video image. Was it this very technology? I don't know. It shows how the West may have the technology but they can't make money off of it without China. In a Western capitalist system that's mean it's a failure.

Of course the West is alarmed but they won't admit they made a mistake. They're still hoping they're going to win the game of chicken acting like they're the ones that are in the advantage. When the West is desperate for supplies while China is the world's preferred customer for raw materials because China gives better deals to countries for them than the West, it's China that has the advantage. Somehow the West thinks their money is more real than China's. Air conditioners and refrigerators when once considered luxury items only found in the West. Not now because China makes them cheap enough to be able to turn a profit in the developing world. It doesn't have to be money. China can trade goods. Can the West do that when they admit their manufacturing has been hollowed out because of outsourcing?

So how does the West think they can outlast China when they're the ones with no supplies?

While imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, America's new industrial policies are destined to fail because their oligarchies will use government subsidies to enrich themselves by buying back shares and inflate stock prices instead of using these to increase productivity.

China will win the industrial and economic wars against the US. They don't have to fight a real war.

With the inevitable loss of the Ukraine war, accelerating deindustrialization of Germany, and the burning of Paris, the EU has no choice but to tune down its rhetoric against China.

They're at least smarter than India if they know how to copy China's succesful economic policy ad verbatim. But yeah, without the same level of audits, government checks and balances, it's not going to go anywhere in particular.

China is currently trying to collect as much market share as possible, because ending the artificial value suppression of the Yuan will make many Chinese goods far less competitive. Which isn't gonna be a huge problem if China completely controls the market, so there are no alternative choice. Huge, uncontestable breakthroughs are ongoing right now in automobiles, an industry where the west thought themselves safe. In a couple of years, semiconductors will follow.

After China has maxed out export shares, they would be able to push gold and oil backed, freely exchangeable and highly deflated yuan as well as lobby for dollar bans. That would harshly cut down on America's economic potential, pushing them back to where they belong vis a vis their industrial capability.

Yeah last night was the first time I saw what was happening in France on TV. It's not that they don't want to give people bad ideas. If it were China where you see as many riots as happening in France, it would be to the West a declaration that China has failed as a system and they would give themselves the right to takeover China because they think their system is better. Well this is France, a Western country, and they don't want other countries giving themselves the idea they have the right to takeover them like they give themselves.

Can you imagine when the US consumer gets a bill that they have to pay a tariff for the stuff they buy...? Of course American lying politicians are counting on dumb Americans thinking some how China is going to be billed a tariff that it's the buyers' end that's responsible. That's on the level of dumb where the British voted for Brexit not thinking that's why Weak Britain is in the sorry shape it's in now.
