It does look very much like a colour revolution op direct from the CIA playbook. Only with American characteristics, where the ‘revolution’ was deliberately whipped up half baked, but allowed to create disturbing scenes to provide the justification for the deployment of military forces in the capital who are not loyal to the president.

Well I was also thinking how this would be played if in a country that the West did not like:

Yes, America putting terrorists on no-fly lists - isn't that what China's highly criticized 'social credit' system is about anyway?

Reminds me of when the Guardian contradicted itself saying China jails the most journalists. 47 in jail in China, whereas in USA 110 were arrested or charged, and about 300 assaulted. No basic math?

Probably because they were counting everyone who has ever made a social media, blog or forum post as a ‘citizen journalist’ in China, hence why China’s entire prison population are journalists! That’s western big brain logic for you.

It’s the exactly same ‘logic’ used to estimate the hundreds of millions of Chinese who were supposed to have died during the cultural rev and the millions who are supposed to have died from Covid.

I’m sure I have seen this episode of Homeland already?

Must say the writers are making some bold changes in the latest season. Who saw the shocker of Carrie Mathison getting randomly capped by some lowly patrol cop coming? Or was that a Russian/Iranian/Chinese spy sent on a secret mission to assassinate her?!
