Ah I knew Babones, he's a permabear and forever Hawk on China. I have read his articles a few times on FP. He usually wrote there.

Not to long ago, Trump has pardoned Eric Prince, mercenary who founded Blackwater, ex navy seal, Trump administration adviser. The guy has group of mercenaries, spies etc.

Short clip from TRT (state broadcast). I am actually surprised how quickly Turkey is becoming a skeptic of Nato and the west. While China was only hoping for Turkey to stay neutral, there is the possibility of bringing the state into the Eurasian alliance with China, Russia, Iran, and Pakistan.

The eventual Islamic block that China is building an alliance with is composed of Turkey, Qatar, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Indonesia with Egypt and Jordan on the sideline. Yemen depends on which group wins. All the neighboring 'stan'-countries belong to the SCO already. Since Turkey is nominally secular, Iran aspires to be the eventual regional hegemon. Once Iran acquires nuclear weapons, this game is over and a deadlier one starts. I don't see what chips Saudi Arabia have over the long run. Saudi military's actions in Yemen is less than encouraging and doesn't scare any one.

America is failing its democracy, not the other way around. The Capitol chaos should be a warning to us all: no one is perfect, and we must try harder. America is not a failed state. But we must realize that America only wins when it deserves and must learn where it fails.
I wish people like Gadget tool and his ilk can learn some wisdom and humility from watching this video and not the usual ill wish and hubris

The US founding fathers never wanted a democracy. They wanted a bunch of educated white men voting for leaders amongst themselves to lead the country. It wasn't really even partisan back then.
It has since then devolved into an inefficient democracy that pretends to be a republic.
