When 'America First' has to enhance cooperations with these rich powerful nations in so many critical areas in their dealing with one poor developing China (ranking only 64 GDP per capita, Wikipedia), things must be going badly.
To make matters worse, Global South is starting to make independent decisions that can further weaken US leverage.
US and Allies can still manage the situation if they start to acknowledge other countries differences and not impose their own 'rules based order'.
Their sanctions against China (and Russia) are double edged, they no longer provide the required results while creating new challenges for themselves. US & Europe biggest threat is lack of leadership, not China,
How more satrapies how better. That strengthens their hegemony. Their goal until 2015 was to nudge the PRC in being a bigger Japan serving their rules based order. That is still their goal but now they will use suppression and containment.

Mexican cartels (Cartel Del Golfo, CDG) is reportedly equipped with US javelins or Swedish AT-4s lmao.

They got AT4’s only (for now), not Javelins. Javelins are significantly wider than AT4’s. The media outlet misidentified it. Regardless, it’s pretty obvious where they are getting it, and it will be a nasty weapon towards the Mexican Army and police that are currently fielding light vehicles during their patrols.

What about equal representation, perhaps even restorative justice and reparations, for Asians in US media and sports?
Given that an NBA star is paid in the millions and has massive fame, ascension of Asians into the NBA is a great way for the USG to encourage equal representation. Therefore, we demand that 5% of the spots in the NBA draft be reserved for Asian candidate, in contrast to the paltry 1% that Asians occupy currently.

If the NBA and other major sports organizations can implement such affirmative actions, the asian community would be a little bit more receptive to aa in the university level. Just a little bit.

The US and Taiwan reached agreement on the first part of their “21st century” trade initiative, covering customs and border procedures, regulatory practices, and small business, the US Trade Representative’s office said on Thursday.

After the initial agreement of the US-Taiwan Initiative on 21st Century Trade is signed, negotiations will commence on other, more complicated trade areas including agriculture, digital trade, labour and environmental standards, state-owned enterprises and non-market policies and practices, USTR said.

Just beautiful. Really beautiful to let the US dictate all your economical, industrial, technology and trade policies. 'Non market policies' and practices. That means implement neoliberalism wholesale and do not invest or make plans as government to better your country through technology and trade and privatize all your state owned companies . The free market tycoons will do the job. This is one method how they spread their favoured economic model of neoliberalism throughout the globe: through ''trade'' agreements, WTO, IMF, trade ''wars'' and world bank.

What is India afraid of? Letting its people know how far ahead China really is?

I was going to joke about this. Fortunately, thanks to Asian female human rights activists I don't have to. The only missing thing is Amnesty claiming Elon Musk had disappeared.

Musk is so busy in China right now because he wants to double gigafactory Shanghai's output ASAP. Tweeting is the least important thing for him at the moment. Some of the female Chinese diaspora reporters are really bad.
