The European vassals are eager for their Ukrainian adventure to end soon or at least to freeze the conflict to recover after more than a year of proxy war. And how Europe still thinks it can mediate this conflict is beyond laughable.

Hahaha please d!e in the gutter. This nation is amongst the most eager to push for the fight in Ukraine and now after they experienced just a little damage, they want out. No no no… this nation deserves to suffer until the people violently remove this US leaning leaders from power first. Any nation that wants to freeze the conflict in Russia can just STFU, it’s not Europe or the USA that can dictate how the fight will go, their hasn’t been enough dead NATO troops yet for the collective west to feel it yet. If they want to freeze the conflict, give Russia all of the east of Ukraine with no preconditions and a clause that says any breach this time will result in the immediate nuking of the west of Ukraine along with the rest of the Baltic states and perhaps even beyond, in other words, no deal to the USA, that will always betray any and all agreements. And now , Europe needs to suffer the consequences and it must be painful enough that the governments don’t live long enough to regret their traitorous choices. Denmark can just be quiet and take the pain at this point, they have no business telling anyone what to do because really if they do have a hand in Nordstrom 2, really if something painful happens to them… serves them right… only problem is that it is no way near painful enough.

told The Hill.

Murthy specifically pointed to the possibility of a link between time spent on social media and depression and anxiety.
No mention of environmental degradation, declining life opportunities, and the possibility social media provides a more complete and accurate world view than the US government.

To be fair, social media is a double edged sword. It has its important pros which you delineated but there are some drawbacks. The incessant and immature name calling, insults, and other garbage behaviors that include empty braggery in an attempt to become a wannabe Hollywood star found on those platforms really can cause mental issues among the youth as jealousy and envy are part of human nature. Those cons are particularly pronounced on platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and Tiktok. A declining mental can have negative impacts on one’s adversity, determination and outlook on life in general, thereby eliminating their capability to be better as a whole. This would definitely have a negative impact on society as a whole as people impacted by this would seem means alleviate these issues such as drugs, aggressive projections, suicide and etc.

Yet no similar scale epidemic of mental health problems in the rest world despite them taking up social media just as much.

This is being used as an excuse to increase social media censorship.

Perhaps. Any politician can use a legitimate problem as a vehicle for their own desires such as the good old “them Chinese are taking away my job”. However it’s hard to say for the rest of the world since other countries such as Sweden actually delegates resources to deal with mental health issues while others such as Cambodia or the Congo are too poor to focus on social media. The US never really cared about mental issues and attributed it to lack of toughness until it got really bad.

Chinese businesses and manufacturers are replacing South Korean exports to China as China no longer relies upon South Korea for intermediate goods. Consequently, South Korea would run a trade deficit. Remember those PX protests, China used to import tens of billions of PX from South Korea and Japan but not anymore.

“Many Chinese businesses are manufacturing intermediate goods, which we mainly export," Bank of Korea Governor Rhee Chang-yong remarked on the slump in a meeting with lawmakers. “The decade-long support from the Chinese economic boom has disappeared.”

“Our competitiveness became weaker compared with the past. Securing competitiveness against China over the mid- to long term is a critical issue.”

Rhee said other Asian countries such as Japan and Vietnam suffered similar problems as they sold industrial products to China.

You don't need to be rich to be on social media. You need a phone. Africans and Indians are addicted to social media, yet there's no increase in mental health problems there.

It's to do with the broader decline in living standards and quality of life that's happening in western countries. Blaming social media is like blaming video games for school shootings.

Be careful about buying Indian generic drugs.

India will instigate mandatory tests in government-run laboratories of cough syrup destined for export, after a spate of child deaths.

The new rule, which comes into effect from June 1, was enacted after 18 children died in Uzbekistan and 66 in The Gambia last year, after they were reportedly administered Indian-made cough syrups. The deaths raised concerns about the safety standards of India’s $41 billion pharmaceutical industry.
Last October, the World Health Organization (WHO) issued a global alert against cough syrups made by Indian manufacturers after instances of contamination were found in the Marshall Islands and Micronesia, close on the heels of the child deaths in The Gambia and Uzbekistan.

The WHO alert did not specify if anyone had taken ill in the two Pacific nations after using the medicines. However, the global health body said that it had tested samples of Guaifenesin TG syrup, which is manufactured by Punjab-based QP Pharmachem Ltd, and the test showed “unacceptable amounts of diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol.” Both of these compounds are toxic and unfit for human consumption.
Children are getting poisoned by Indian made cough syrups. According to the WHO.

The WHO has linked four cough syrups made by Maiden Pharmaceuticals to the deaths of 66 children from kidney damage in The Gambia. Though the Indian government and the manufacturer have denied the allegations, the authorities took punitive action against another pharmaceutical company in March.
So the Indian government absolves responsibility of one company, while punishing another. Its hard to trust that they are gonna be honest.

To be fair, China did have the same controversy of poisoned cough syrup many years back. But China have largely cleaned up their pharma industry since then. I don't trust India to be able to clean up their pharma industry as well as China did. It is carrying out denials and selective punishments. Not a good sign of progress. I think it is better to try to stay away from any generic drugs from Indian companies. Indian-made drugs from Western pharma companies may be safer, but we can't be that sure too.
