This is another example of what I said earlier about animal rights activist tactics. They lost hope in shaming Americans into not eating meat. It actually hardens Americans against them. So instead animals rights activists have to exploit American racism and vilify other cultures eating meat hoping to trap Americans into a hypocrisy in order shame them into not eating meat. Here, China is laughing at the US so Americans better stop the dissenting that the US brags about having that freedom or they're playing into China's hands.

It's not so much that Trump got played than that greed knows no bounds and there's no honor among the greedy. Conveniently off spotlight for now with all this is that this is the known and predictable result of excessive inequality. Something some posters here have also been keen to play down or misdirect.
