Ambani's and Adani's are in the hundreds. Destitute people are in the hundreds of millions. The average so called "middle class" Indian family earns around $600 (50K rupees) with 4 or sometimes 6 mouths to feed (parents included). Indian economic model has always been and will always be oligarchic. Someone said it correctly, India is a country of a 100 million people and 1.3 billion livestock.

It happened in Afghanistan in 2021 too. When Ashraf Ghani escaped the country he went to the airport in a Hongqi that was gifted to the Afghan government. He probably reasoned that if any Taliban is taking aim with RPG-7 on the side of the road they will realize it's a Hongqi and decide better not risk it.

why should % difference matter more than spot?
India has disposable income that it want to spend studying overseas or Gold. India consistently among Top Gold importer spanning over decades. They are pursuing sound policies.

I was watching the White House Correspondence Dinner on CNN where the media celebrates itself. Well news networks like to invite celebrities usually to champion things their network is for. FOX News last year invited basketball player Enes Kanter to showcase their anti-China narrative. They seem to have invited him again this year and he was seated near WNBA basketball player Britney Griner who was imprisoned in Russia. Joe Biden lauds her during his time at the mic. Everyone gives her a standing ovation... except for Enes Kanter. The guy should be easily seen if he were standing up. No sign. Tells you he was all about publicity for himself. Shouldn't a guy that changed his name to Enes Kanter Freedom be standing up for someone who was denied her freedom? Not when that person steals the spotlight from you.
