Although India is absurd, funny and not enterprising in many ways, it has to be admitted that it is one of the few countries that China needs to take seriously.

1. No matter how rubbish India's reputation in the international community is and how ridiculous things it does, it is also one of the few sovereign countries.

2. Although it is often ridiculed that "India is a country with 100 million people and 1.3 billion livestock", but from the perspective of 50 or 100 years, it is still the country with the hightest market purchasing power potential among the top three in the world.

3. Although his development speed is not worth mentioning compared to the same period in China, his increment is indeed growing. He made many stupid reforms, but many reforms have played a positive role in social development in the long run. (This is like a person who keeps eating nutritious but unhygienic food, he will have diarrhea every day, but in the long run he will gradually gain weight)

4. Although its industrial capacity and industrial chain are in a mess, it should not be ignored. It can manufacture nuclear weapons, fighter jets and launch vehicles. It is also one of the few developing countries with a complete industry, and a country with a large number of engineers. The most important thing is that his industry is not easy to be destroyed. The reason is that India has a backward but huge small-scale peasant economy, which provides a lot of soft landing space for the economic crisis.

5. It is at a good time, Sino-US competition and US-Russia confrontation provide it with a development window, human fear of nuclear weapons, and the umbrella of basic universal values of human beings prevent it from mass murder and the possibility of being directly colonized .

Therefore, it can be ridiculed tactically as a personal pastime, but strategically, India should be regarded as a respectable opponent in order to seek long-term suppression methods and the possibility of long-term cooperation. There is almost no historical animosity between China and India. China’s advantages in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau will continue to be expanded with the advancement of science and technology. The long-term reconciliation between India and Pakistan needs China’s help. Both China and India have a pantheistic religious environment. The future is still long, and everything is possible.

The strategic interests of China, India, and Russia all lie in different spheres. This is why there is little or no interest of a conflict between those three countries. Sure there is currently a border dispute between China and India, but it's nothing that can't be resolved with enough time and good faith negotiations, just like how China and Russia resolved all of their border disputes.

The only reason why China and the US is on a conflict course is literally because the US needs to maintain a global hegemony and China's rise is challenging that hegemony. China, in the foreseeable future, has no interest in a global hegemony, and I would argue that it should never seek one. If you don't seek hegemony, then you don't need to suppress anyone.

US officials lead urgent rescue talks for First Republic

NEW YORK, April 28 (Reuters) - U.S. officials are coordinating urgent talks to rescue First Republic Bank (FRC.N) as private-sector efforts led by the bank's advisers have yet to reach a deal, according to three sources familiar with the situation.
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Treasury Department and the Federal Reserve are among government bodies that have in recent days started to orchestrate meetings with financial companies about putting together a lifeline for the troubled lender, the sources said.

I do agree with some of this. They're projected to peak at 1.6 billion people sometime around 2040. Already they have a PPP larger than Japan and #3 in the world. By virtue of population alone, India is going to be a force to be reckoned with. However India will never do to China what China is currently doing to other advanced economies: cannibalize their market shares in advanced industries (South Korea, Germany and Japan in particular are utterly f*cked). Not with its current leadership. And even if an Indian Communist Party with every bit of brutal pragmatism and efficiency as the CPC suddenly takes power, it would still take decades for India to build itself up and threaten China's industries and economic prosperity, assuming everything goes right. Should that happen, China must do everything in its power to hamper, contain and cut down India's growth.
Why though? An Indian Communist Party you described would be ideologically aligned with China, and would be an excellent ally.

In a new video, released by the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, cheerful and hopeful expressions quickly turn to sorrow the moment ispace announced that contact with the spacecraft has been lost.

spent almost five years building the 10kg rover, which was meant to spend 14 days studying an unexplored region of the Moon.

Footage shows Dr Sara Al Maeeni, communication lead and project scientist with the mission, holding her face in her hands when the mission failure news was announced.

Abdullah Al Shehi, mechanical lead of the rover, is also seen covering his face with his hands.

Dr Hamad Al Marzooqi, the manager of the mission, also appeared in the video where he learnt contact was lost.

But Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, chairman of MBRSC, was quick to console the upset engineers and scientists with encouraging words.

"There are some things that require a certain amount of patience. Thank you. You have worked hard," he said.

"For us, regardless of the outcome of the four or five-year mission, you are the treasure that makes us proud.

"As a first-of-its-kind mission in the Arab and Islamic world, this is significant. May Allah bless you."

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of MBRSC, paid a visit to the space centre yesterday.

Sheikh Mohammed formally announced the development of Rashid 2, the second rover under the country's long-term Moon exploration programme.

Engineers have already been working on the rover and had secured a Chinese lander for it, but it is unclear whether that is still happening.

It is crucial for MBRSC to secure a lander to be able to send the rover to the Moon.

A lunar lander is a type of spacecraft that is able to voyage to and land on the Moon using its propulsion system, with rovers and other payloads stored safely inside.

Even though the Rashid rover did not make it safely to the lunar surface, Emirati engineers gained a wealth of data that can be used for future missions.

Rashid was the first Arab rover to enter lunar orbit.
My brothers and Sisters don't be saddened, you will surely taste success in the near future In sha Allah, my brothers and sisters may Allah bless you and fulfill all your space dreams.

End of the day despite being boastful, incompetent and overtly emotional Indian leadership is willing to standup against West for it's core interests and that's what matters, Hopefully China can pull off another Iran-Saudi deal in South Asia in the future

Why though? An Indian Communist Party you described would be ideologically aligned with China, and would be an excellent ally.
By 2050 India could have 1.6 billion to China's 1.2 billion. Assuming the Indian Communist Party is as competent as its Chinese counterpart, that's a big problem for China.

It's like US/China today, except worse because India/China are right next to each other.
