Until the government feels the pain, they will keep it up, right until the general population either put those guns to good use or stave to death from hyperinflation. Either way, not good for the USA, but why should China care, that is the responsibility of the USA government to protect its people, not there shareholders

Apropos of nothing, there is a famous 2001 Bollywood film called Lagaan which depicts a cricket match between Indian villagers and British colonial officers in the late 19th century. The evil Brits are demanding taxes that the village is in no position to pay owing to drought, so a wager is agreed: win at the foreign devil's game (which none of the villagers know how to pay) and no taxes will be owed for two years; lose and owe double taxes. No prizes for guessing who wins. The film is clearly intended as an allegory for the emergence of a confident and diverse Indian nation from colonial bondage, with the cricket team including a Sikh, a Muslim, even a Dalit. It's actually quite good.

As I said before, the interesting about this people with their propaganda is that the floor could be crumbling beneath their feet and they always point to somewhere else mainly China. This insane obsession with China is blinding Americans from their own problems in almost every single issue.
In 2007 China biggest stock bubble in their history blew up, bigger than the 2015 one , every single news article talking about the end of China and apocalyptic news everywhere MEANWHILE the biggest financial crisis was brewing in the US financial system at plain sight and nobody said nothing until blew up. The irony was that the 2009 China stimulus prevented the world from entering a bigger crisis.
