Australia is not alone. It is supported by all Anglo Saxon countries. As for other white countries, they may not be the brothers of Australia, but they will support Australia if the conflict between China and Australia begins.

This diplomatic conflict could be avoided, if China kept quiet and pretended he didn't know everything. Extreme pragmatism is the key to China defeating the West. Skip the little things to look at the bigger picture

Who is really going to support Australia when the topic is war crimes and executions by Australian special forces soldiers?

The more vocal the support and arguments, the more it discredits them.

This is uncalled for

All fives eyes countries except Britain are settler states, so he is not really wrong. Settlers should be sent back to Britain, or at least be restricted from holding political power in their respective states (the political power would instead be in the hands of the the colonized - the natives and rightful "owners" of the land).

Well, you should look at the media. NZ already voiced it's support, US with its wine declaration. France and UK have. Shall I go on?

All these are insignicant actions that have barely registered.

And when it does, it just makes them look bad in the eyes of the rest of the world.

Remember, after people are shocked by the images or hear about them, they learn about Australian soldiers committing war crimes.

There's no way for Australia and its supporters to escape from this.

Barely registered? Are you sure? I wouldn't call Hua chun Ying press conference in response to NZ and others insignificant.

Agree with you that it does make them look bad in the eyes of the world. But the eyes of the world doesn't matter to the west at all.

What do those words and support for Australia actually mean? It barely registers from an information, propaganda or economic point of view.

And from the Chinese point of view, it's already written off the USA, Australia and some of the West.
So what matters is the rest of the world.

From the Chinese point of view, the bigger and more high profile this argument gets, the better, because Australia (and its supporters) look bad.
