Exactly. Knowing the West, the appeal likely went along the lines of

"Don't you dare to supply weapons to Russia."

"Okay, so what will you offer in return?"

"Don't you dare to supply weapons to Russia."

"You said that already. But what are you offering?"

"Nothing. Don't you dare to supply weapons to Russia."

"Don't you Nancy Pelosi dare to visit Taiwan without our permission."

"Okay, we landed in Taiwan so what will you do in return?"

"Nothing. Don't you dare to visit Taiwan."

China says "Don't you dare to supply weapons to Taiwan." "Don't you dare to deploy troops in Taiwan."

So what will China do? So far, China has done nothing but bitching.

Obviously time traveling SeeSeePee spy blimps. They stole future American hypersonic tech and then travelled back in time for some lolz.
CNN's Don Lemon said the MH370 B777 carrying semiconductor engineers bound for Beijing might have been sucked into a black hole or abducted by UFO...

What if reality is like Interstellar movie but Chinese instead of involving Anglo...

Advanced China in the future as a Type I civilization (solved EROEI, survived the Thucydides's Trap and Great Filter etc) creates a quantum singularity with a solar system scale particule accelerator displaced 13.9 billion years into the past, seeding it with the physical constants that solve the fine tuning paradox...

Essentially China of the future created the big bang moment and the entire Universe itself, the CPC is God, Xi is Jesus, and China has already won, and always will be willing in all eternal times...

Existence of life and reality itself is one self-referiential circular loop that bootstraps itself over and over again and again in a sort of Penrose CCC fashion, with the Middle Kingdom at the center and core to everything at all times.

Nope, Taiwan had much more freedom of action in the strait before, now their control area is limited to the island of Taiwan as demonstrated during the uncontested firing of missiles over Taiwan and into Taiwan claimed waters.

But don't you understand, Pelosi made a visit and gave speeches. It's a huge symbolic and media victory!

As for all of that real world stuff happening on the ground, what does that matter/have anything to do with me?

British supermarkets begin (limiting purchase of) vegetables

The UK’s largest grocer, Tesco, has joined rivals Asda, Morrisons and Aldi by slapping limits on purchases of salad vegetables due to supply shortages, the company announced on Wednesday.

Tesco said it decided to limit the sales of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers to three per person. The company noted that it was introducing these limits as a precautionary measure, in order to ensure that more people get the goods they need.

Budget supermarket chain Aldi has also placed a “temporary” three-item limit on these vegetables. Asda capped purchase limits to three per person on eight products, including broccoli and raspberries, while Morrisons limited purchases to two per person on four products, including broccoli.

Analysts say the current troubles stem from two reasons. Firstly, suppliers in Morocco and Spain, the UK's biggest sources of fresh vegetables in the winter, have been suffering from cold temperatures, rain and flooding over the past month, which disrupted harvests and halted deliveries. Secondly, the UK’s own farmers have been struggling to power their greenhouses due to rising energy prices.

EROEI folks... from day 1 I been saying that the human population ballooned from 1 billion to 9 billion because of hydrocarbons... once its used up the dieoff will happen...

For each calorie of food, it take 9 additional calories of energy to grow, process, transport that food and make it available for consumption...

In modern times we are basically converting petroluem to fertilizers to grow crops......

Once oil goes, so does most of global human population...
