I dont see any common identity. Atlanticism came from European integration project that made Germany become so powerful that it start influencing countries both inside and outside Euro-Atlantic area. Germany does not care if its trade and ECB actions make rest of EU poor and cause environmental degradation. Russian thinkers are not very reliable. Germany itself very migrant depended country and is integration success (integration means migrants are well educated and are visible in political life . some of them half white). that integration success some countries may not like it as the end product can be very deceitful.

I have no doubt Germany want to unite India and Asia aka Indo-Pacific against China but still want to trade with China.
infact you go back in history. Arabs were really glad that Japan could make so many products. Asia got lucky it came under US hegemony and not Germany,

It comforts me to see the spread of not only such severe misunderstanding of China at the highest levels of the US command but obvious signs of hatred/fear-induced mental retardation believing that slaves can be used for such highly skilled labor. Posts like this and the one where an American saw Chinese kids use facial recognition pay deeming it as "poor social credit = no food" hearten me to America's continued, and accelerated failure of the "know your enemy" facet of war.
