In my family we say "if the US says jump, Dutch government will pull down their pants and drop on their knees".

This is the quote from the dutch media piece

roughly translated to english:
I cant see how this century will be the Chinese century. The 21st century will be one for democracies
China is the most democratic nation in the world.

That's impossible. The west and th UN already recognized Taiwan as part of china.
You're talking about a country that is trying to take back its "recognition" that Tibet is a territory of China - the recent bill proposed in Congress aims to make Chinese sovereignty over Tibet a "dispute" and its status "unresolved". When has the West ever cared about being hypocritical?

This is the same US that refused to recognize the PRC for years, then switched its recognition from ROC to PRC when it suited it. The same country that made and broke almost every treaty it's ever had with Native Americans. You're still trying to make this about being consistent?

Another thing to watch out for after the release of report on US hegemony is China's wording of the west and US. In the past two years, China usually says "美西方“ (US and West). This report singled out US, considering the rumored Macron visiting China and his close-door meeting with Wang Yi, I am sensing the change of mood. If from now on China stops binding US and West together in diplomatic fight, then the change will be concrete.
