It's important that at least some in Europe hear the message. The more often it is repeated, the more likely it is that at least some of them will hear despite the censorship and misrepresentation of Chinese officials in western media. Spain has already heard it because they have their own problem with separatism. Explaining to the rest of them that China will fight with the same or more determination as Ukraine will teach them that it's risky to promote separatism and remind them that this is China's red line over which it would be forced to go to war.Except the West will thread the needle and say that Taiwan is "already an independent state" and that it was "never a part of the PRC." That's been their mode of operation for a while. They see no contradiction between saying that Ukraine's territorial integrity should be protected & that Taiwan should be independent.
Biden doesn't ask Zelensky for permission to enter Kiev, he asks Putin. Even he knows that Kiev is a Russian city...
It was a weak move anyhow, a real leader would have just gone in and dared the Russians to attack him.
Although the source is the usual WSJ through HK without a name, considering the release of the Chinese paper "US Hegemony and Its Perils", a highlighted visit is very likely. And I think a visit is only symbolic on the surface, more things would happen unannounced.Looks like it's official: Chinese President Xi Jinping plans to visit Moscow for a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The visit is scheduled for April or May.
If the visit happens in May, perhaps Xi can be present for the May 9 Victory Day Parade in the Moscow Red Square?
In my family we say "if the US says jump, Dutch government will pull down their pants and drop on their knees".
Europeans are such bootlickers, lol. Counting on Europe for anything will cost dearly, de-Americanization of important Chinese supply chains should go hand in hand with de-Europeanization. Thinking that people like Rutte will resist the US sanctions is just pure copium at that point. Inb4 "it's bloomberg", it is taken from Rutte's opinion piece for Dutch media - .
roughly translated to english:Ik kan niet inzien hoe dit de eeuw van China zal worden. De 21ste eeuw wordt de eeuw van de democratie en daarmee de eeuw van Amerika
I cant see how this century will be the Chinese century. The 21st century will be one for democracies and hence it will be the American century..
I think the "permission" is more of metaphoric for "allowing to enter without being bombed".Where did you read that Biden asked Putin for permission to enter Kiev?

I can give you 4448077 reasons why he wants the US to win...Yeah right, this century is the century of a particular country who couldn't even maintain and upkeep their own domestic infrastructure...

Imagine a repeat of East Palestine, Ohio - But instead of over dry land, the location is in the middle of a major riverway where tens of millions of people are dependent upon for sustainment of life and economy.
Is he blind and deaf or something?
