Jeez a whole two days' drive to the airport?! After barely a week at the job pulling out a grand total of 3 people and one of them didn't even survive to boot? Can't even imagine the "extremely difficult" ordeal! The Taiwanese SAR team have my sympathies.
After digging (sorry) into this some more, it seems the Taiwanese team was "asked" to leave for reasons unexplained other than a local team had arrived to take over rescue effort -

(Machine translation)
Taiwan's search and rescue team was politely invited away Professor Tu Guoye: very sad

Taiwan's search and rescue team went to the disaster-stricken area in Turkey. They suspected that they had found the survivor's location. Unexpectedly, Adiyaman's local unit entered the excavation and asked the Taiwan search and rescue team to "please leave politely." At that time, a Turkish professor named Yemasi who was teaching in Taiwan volunteered to be an interpreter and coordinated in the middle. During the process, Yemasi said sadly that he felt that the local unit seemed to want to take credit for it. Therefore, the Fire Department responded today (12th) that Taiwan's search and rescue team puts disaster relief first, with the original intention.

Meanwhile the Chinese (including HK) teams are still on-site conducting rescues -

An interesting episode occurred between the Chinese and Japanese teams seemingly about operating one of JP team's equipment. The CN team lead asked the Japanese if they wanted to go inside the rubble together. The JP team lead went: "It's too dangerous", and offered to 'teach' the Chinese how to operate their equipment instead -

This one is from 2018, during the SAR operation after the M6.8 earthquake in Hualien.

The engagement videotaped in the tent as shown actually occured between Taiwan's SAR team and Japan's SAR team, not between China's and Japan's SAR teams (since the separatist government on Taiwan only accepted SAR asssistance offer from Japan and not China).

Other than that, the fact where the Japanese SAR team resorted to teach the local Taiwanese SAR team on how to use their equipment while being reluctant to go into the disaster side themselves alongside their Taiwanese counterpart is accurate, according to the video.

As for East Palestine, this town of 5,000 people has always revolved, in one way or another, around these train tracks. They cut right through the center of town, with trains running "every 13 minutes." But in recent years, Norfolk Southern has cut thousands of jobs -- leading to many locals wondering if this rail car's broken axel could have been avoided.

"They call them bomb trains," said Ratner, describing trains barreling through town at high rates of speed with flammable materials.

Now, the trains are back -- even more often than days past, as freighters try to make up for delayed deliveries.
If an Arab guy called something a bomb train he’d be arrested on the spot.

Just would like to note that the Soviet government paid the cost of cleanup, evacuation and medical bills for Chernobyl victims while Norfolk Southern gave everyone $5 each ($25000 total) and I am not yet aware of any government compensation.

The donkeys are Norfolk are better off paying nothing at all. 5 dollar recompense is just humiliation to the victims.

I do have an idea for the victims at East Palestine though. If I were them I’d band together and put the 25K to good use by buying a weather balloon off Aliexpress and launching it right outside of Washington DC. That’ll get the government’s attention.

So Norfolk basically bought everyone coffee, and everything is water under the bridge.

Why let the elderly go to waste like this? Wouldn’t it be better to send them on banzai charges in an open conflict with China? This way you can get the maximum utility out of the useless elderly before getting rid of them.

Oh I almost forgot do remember to harvest any useful organs they have before they kick the bucket.
Ukraine far right: we're way ahead of you guys
